Misprints/Errors: Mizuki Black Box (Serialized Mizuki Error/Misprint)
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share one of my Mizuki Black Box error cards. It was a crazy experience pulling 3 of these from a single alpha box!
You can see there’s the black box where the serial number is supposed to go. You can also see the base of the steamboy signature.
Another interesting note is that these cards have no texture at all compared to both serialized alt and the regular alt art Mizuki.
It would be cool to know what sort of printing and packing issue/mistake could have caused this. I wonder if these were supposed to be true serials, but the error causes them not to be finished correctly - i.e. are there 3 numbers missing from the set of serialized Mizukis. I’m also curious to know if there are other Mizuki Black Box cards out there. I haven’t seen or heard of any others so far.
Next time, I’ll show the error/misprint Yuki Token Promo (AZP-001) that I pulled from the same alpha box!
