Ya Dig?
Our rescue dog (5yo. Male. Black lab/great dane/pitbull) has been with us for the last four years. We lived in the wide open fields of North Dakota for a few of those years and then moved back to the high desert of California two years ago. He used to chase squirrels and geese on the sand bars, and maybe dug a few holes here and there. Now that we live in the high desert, we deal with lizards, rabbits, you name it. He started out digging holes along our foundation of our house and our cement slab where we have our above ground pool. All the way underground. One morning all I saw was his tail sticking out of the driveway when I looked outside. He hit the ultimate moment when he must have seen a critter climb under my fiancé‘s car and proceed to eat the front end. It went as far as to go underneath and chew up plastic and wires to a point where the car does not function. Someone give me some ideas on what to do here. He is not a bad dog and does listen, but when he sees something, his hunting instincts make him see red.
