Hey!, i am really worried about my hostel actually my alloted date of hostel is on 13th but i'll be reaching there by 11-12 o clock. I want to really come on 12th but my father is not agreeing so eventually i'll be coming on 13th and i want my hostel room on ground floor and i also want my bed beside window so if i come on 13th by 12 thing will not be messed up right !?also i am really tensed about how will my roomates will be and i want roomate of my course so we both will be having company of each other plzz can anybody help

Hi my lovely juniors. A very congratulations to all of you who got admission here for BTech. I know many of you wanted CSE or AI but hey, chill. Every branch here is the best in academics.

I know it's the beginning and many of you might be excited or nervous for your college, trust me I too was in your shoes last year.

Many of you DMed me about your rank, your admission queries, hostel accommodation and much much more, and I'm really glad that I could try my level best to answer your problems. I'm pretty sure you might've been reassured with the crazy thoughts you had while asking me the questions.

Now, since you'll be in the first year, I'd like to share some of my experiences that you'll keep in mind.

1. On my very first day, I was really confused about my classes and the department. For all branches, in the first year, the major classes are generally conducted in a common department. For me, it was Surya Mandir. The labs and other classes are organized in different departments.
   You'll be provided with the class section, practical batch name, time table and your roll number before your classes begin.

2. Many of you will definitely feel homesickness during initial days, it's really important to make friends here as the environment is already packed with restrictions. So keep on interacting with people of this sub to never feel lonely there!

3. Teachers are generally lenient for initial days so if you don't have khadi, you can wear cotton kurtis, but on a safer side please keep atleast 3-4 suits for specific occasions or fests.

4. We have an annual fest called Apaji Mela held in November on the occasion of the birth anniversary of our founder. You can wear sarees or fancy suits for the event. And for the Dandiya, bring a nice dress or lehenga for the Garba Night.

5. The theory classes are generally Non-AC, so to avoid heat in the classrooms, bring a bottle of cold water. For travelling from hostel to class, cover yourself, take an umbrella and apply sunscreen to avoid tan.

6. Many hostels face theft, it's advised to avoid keeping cash or if you want to, then safely lock it into your wardrobe and write your name on your belongings.

7. Many girls are sometimes found littering the washrooms and hostels, so kindly maintain hygiene and throw your waste in the dustbin itself.

8. A quick advice coming from a sister, never trust anyone too easily. You never know the other person's intentions so do not share your secrets with anyone unless and until you have full faith on her.

Hi , guys today was my Counselling and i got CSE branch as per my choice, but i was not able to meet anyone who was from Varanasi or around that place.

I am actually lookin forward to connect with anyone who are from Varanasi or any where around it like , Prayagraj , Mughal Sarai , Gorakhpur , Etc. so we could help each other when we need to travel together in future or any similar issues.

Khadi is more like cotton material only....

And I m unable to find exact khadi material..

Do I need to buy it from the brand "KHADI INDIA"

Today was my counselling and I was told to make a new character certificate cuz the one I have is expired...i m a dropper

I am getting cse in Jiit 128 and banasthali vidyapeeth which one should i consider

1). Roi and placement ( banasthali records are not officially mentioned)

2). Education curriculum and faculty

Another thibg is i live in ncr but jiit fees is high and 128 has almost no.campus so a bit worried and heard that 62 is prefered so please help asap.

I have some queries about the admission form. Can someone answer these please?

1. In the income section, is the estimated okay because my family's monthly income is not fixed?

2. There are some places where it is said to write numbers with std code but aren't those for landlines? Should I leave that blank?

3. On page 3 , point 12 they asked for mobile number after guardian's email, should I write mine or my father's?

4. On pg 4, in the declaration form , what place and date do we have to write and do we have to fill it there?

5. Also they given spaces for office, home, mobile and phone (with std) number. Can I just fill mobile and leave rest?

6. Is there anywhere we have to write our own number?

7. Also my mother is saying that in the 2 spaces for signs for leaving, i could do in one myself but with her name so if there is any thing i can just sign it myself because getting it by post could take time or might be a hassle and they make a call to parents anyway before granting leave so its not like they won't know. So do they like check if the sign on form came by post or i did it myself?

I've heard somewhere that for btech courses before counselling they'll mail you about documents required along with an application form attached jisko printout krke fill krna hogaa.

But I didn't receive anyy mail. Please tell me kisko aaya h and kisko nhi along with the day you are called...

I watched a vide in which she said you need to bring your allotment letter at least 2-3 copies???is it the offer letter we have to bringe that as well , as in other video someone else said that you can show it on your phone??? And also can anyone share the steps in counseling
