The sea has been strangely quiet lately.

Then came whispers of something ancient… something massive, lurking beneath the surface.

And above the dark waters stands an old castle, keeping its secrets behind the walls.

We’ve been working on something new with a designer, and this is just a first look.

CBOX BWR108 Fly Future Lab Hub – Build Experience

Just finished building the CBOX BWR108 Fly Future Lab Hub, so here are some quick thoughts.

First off, I really like how the finished build looks. The colors are probably my favorite part. They’re bright and vibrant, but not in a way that feels too much. The whole thing has a really fun, cheerful look to it.

The build itself was pretty comfortable too. I was expecting my fingers to be pretty sore by the end because of the size of the set, but surprisingly, they weren’t. I also didn’t come across any steps that felt ridiculously difficult or frustrating.

There was one part that gave me a bit of a headache, though — the tower on the left side.

While the inside structure was still being built, there were a few times when I had to use a bit more force than I wanted to connect the next section. The annoying part was that doing that sometimes caused pieces I’d already built inside to pop off.

The large red wall inside was another one. Since it’s such a big section, there isn’t really a good spot to push against when connecting it, so getting everything lined up and properly connected took a little patience.

Other than those two areas, though, I didn’t really have any major complaints.

Also, no stickers! Everything is printed, which is always a big win for me. The printed details on the little aircraft especially look really nice once the whole thing is finished.

Overall, I had a pretty good time building this one. Just take a little extra care around the left tower and those larger red wall sections, and you should be fine.

🖨️ No stickers. No compromises. Every detail is fully printed!

Take a closer look at the printed details of the Stinger Mantis 🚀

From the cockpit to the interior spaces, every printed pattern adds more character to the build. The compact kitchen, storage room, lounge area, and small details like the coffee machine, plants, and sofa make the whole interior feel more complete.

The exterior is impressive, but the printed details inside are what make this build stand out. 👀

The boss was not impressed 😾

Tried to take a photo of the BWR103 News Building with the boss.

The building was ready.

The camera was ready.

The boss was… clearly not impressed.

I guess this is his building now.

I’m just here to take the photos. 😂

Finished building the Radio Building

Just finished this one, so I thought I'd share my build experience.

The 2-in-1 design is probably what I like most about it. It's not just a building that you put together and leave on the shelf — there are some parts you can take apart pretty quickly, and the rooms inside the radio building can be pulled out and opened up to see the interior.

There are also a lot of small details packed into the build. Some of them are little references to things from the movie, so if you're familiar with it, you'll probably recognize a few of them. I definitely enjoyed noticing those while building.

The downside is that all those details mean there are quite a lot of small pieces. Some parts took a bit of patience, and after building for a while my fingers were definitely feeling it. Nothing impossible, just one of those builds where you probably don't want to rush through it.

One thing I really liked is that there are no stickers at all. The details are printed directly on the pieces, which makes the finished model look much cleaner.

Overall, I enjoyed building it. The 2-in-1 setup and the pull-out interior make it more interesting than a normal building, and the movie references are a nice bonus if you're a fan.

Just sharing my experience after finishing the build — the small pieces can be a bit tiring, but I think the extra detail is worth it.

🔄 Rotating wings & landing gear

✈️ Switch between flight and landing modes

🧩 Quick-release design

🖨️ Fully printed pieces — no stickers

And yes, it comes with a display stand too.

Here’s a quick look at some of the details and play features in action.

What’s inside the box? 👀🖤

Starting with the unboxing and sorting all the parts, then slowly bringing this dark creature to life piece by piece.

The highlight of this build is definitely the huge wing design, the detailed Fell Beast body, the black armored rider connected by chains, and the volcanic base with lava-colored details.

Once finished, the adjustable joints make it possible to change the pose and create different display styles.

Can’t wait to see this beast on the shelf. 🔥

Finished the Treasury Petra build — some thoughts

Finally finished this one after taking my time with it. Overall, I really enjoyed the build.

The first thing I noticed was that everything was packed pretty well. All the bags were there, no missing pieces, and the instructions were easy enough to follow. I didn’t really have any major issues during the build.

The only thing that bothered me a little was the colors. Some of the tan/brown pieces are really close to each other, so when building under normal room lighting, I had to look twice at the instructions sometimes. Not a big deal, but it definitely made me slow down a bit.

This is not really a “build it in one day” kind of set. There are a lot of small parts, and the cliff sections take quite a while. I actually enjoyed splitting it into a few sessions instead of rushing through it. Some parts did feel a little repetitive, but once the main structure started coming together, it became much more satisfying.

The finished model looks really good. The columns, the round building section, the statues, and the layered cliff design are probably my favorite parts. The sandstone colors work really well and it really gives off that Petra feeling.

I also like that there’s a hanging option on the back. I don’t have unlimited shelf space, so being able to put it on the wall is actually pretty useful. The lights are a nice touch too — the warm lighting makes the whole thing look much better, especially at night.

My only real complaint is that there isn’t much to do with it after finishing. It’s definitely a display piece rather than a play set. Personally, that’s fine because I mainly build for display, but people looking for lots of moving functions might find it a bit simple.

Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. It’s not the easiest build, and a few things could be improved, but the final result is worth the time. As an Indiana Jones fan, seeing Petra recreated in bricks was pretty cool.

Anyone else built this one? Curious what you thought about it.

Something big is coming… 👀

A mysterious silhouette has appeared in the desert.

Massive. Covered in thick fur. And those curved horns… definitely not something you see every day.

There’s also something sitting on its back, but the full shape is still hidden in the dust.

Any guesses what we’re working on?

Drop your guess below. 🧐

More will be revealed soon.

A dark creature has landed… 🖤🔥

Take a closer look at the YOUKMO YM011 Onyx Beast Fury.

I really like the overall dark fantasy style — the huge wings, the armored rider, and the lava-like base work really well together. What surprised me most is the amount of movement you get on the build. The neck, tail, and legs can all be adjusted, so you can try different poses and find the one that looks best.

The wing structure keeps the creature looking powerful on display, even with the wide spread design.

What a treat for my medieval theme expansion. Will be interesting to see the size of the two sets. First order from barweer since a long time ago.

Finished building the BARWEER BWR403 Art Museum Construction Site.

I spent some time building this one myself, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The bags were organized well, the instructions were easy to follow, and the whole build flow felt natural. Almost every piece was used up exactly as planned, which is always satisfying when you finish a big set.

I know many builders care about printed parts, and yes — this set also comes with printed pieces, no stickers. The signs, decorations, and small interior details look much cleaner this way, and it makes the finished build feel more polished.

My favorite part was seeing the construction scene come together step by step. The art gallery interior, container office, workstations, tools, scaffolding, and building materials add a lot of life to the model.

The removable floors and roof sections are a nice design choice because you can easily check the interior after finishing. The rotating crane and separate truck also add some extra fun instead of just being a display model.

The bricks feel good during the build. The clutch is solid, but pieces are still easy to adjust or remove when needed. The mix of colors and larger parts makes the whole structure feel very stable once finished.

Overall, this was a fun build with a lot of small details to discover. Happy to share some photos after finishing it — hope you guys enjoy it.
