One of our customers recently finished building the Iambrick 30801 Icehorn Longhouse and shared a really detailed review. Thought I'd pass along some of the key takeaways in case anyone here is considering this set.

The biggest plus seems to be the theme. Viking-inspired builds are pretty rare, and this one does a great job with the snowy village, longhouse, shields, longship, and overall Nordic atmosphere. It definitely looks awesome on display.

On the flip side, the builder mentioned that the interiors are quite small, the dark colors can make the build a bit tricky, and the lighting system and cable routing could use some refinement. The instructions also have a few steps that could be clearer.

Overall, the feedback was that it's a really unique display piece with lots of creative ideas, even though the building experience isn't perfect.

Just wanted to share a real customer's experience to help anyone who's been curious about this set. 😊

Pretty happy with this one. No missing pieces, the instructions were straightforward, and there were a few build techniques that caught me by surprise. The wing mechanism is really satisfying, and I like that you can open up the center section and the rear ramp to check out the interior. It also sits nicely on the landing gear, so it looks great on display.

The only thing that really annoyed me was the bag numbering. I ended up opening a bunch of later bags way earlier than I should have because I couldn't find the parts I needed. Not the end of the world, but it definitely slowed the build down.

Other than that, I had a good time with it. Curious if the bag numbering was like this for everyone else, or if I just got an odd batch.

Sharing a customer photo of the REOBRIX The Clock Tower because I thought the finished build looked incredible.

This thing stands about 1.35m (4.4 ft) tall and consists of 13,825± pieces, including printed parts and stickers. The amount of detail is pretty insane, and for a build of this size, the structure looks impressively solid.

At over 140cm (56 inches) tall, it weighs an astonishing 12kg (26 lbs).”

Seeing the finished model in a real home setup is always cool. We know some people are still on the fence about this set or have questions about its size and building experience, so hopefully these photos and feedback help a little.
