The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed as long as Iran wants it closed. All they require is one drone to attack shipping. Opinion.

No matter how many warships Trump and his totally incompetent administration keep in the Strait, no shipper is going to risk the loss of a vessel and potentially millions of barrels of oil based on the’’ hope’ the ship will get through.

Before the ‘Dumbass in Chief’ got conned out of his industrialized size pampers by Netanyahu and agree to fight Israel’s war, the Strait was open, oil was flowing easily throughout the world, Iran agreed not to pursue a nuclear weapon and consented to international inspections. All America had to do was return 1.5 billion of ‘their’ embargoed funds and gradually reduce some sanctions.

Now, the Strait is closed, the world is being held hostage by fourth-rate power and worldwide inflation is growing at record paces, our economy is in free-fall, and the Iranian people have come to understand they probably need nuclear weapons to protect themselves.

A word about that that fourth-rate power. Trump has nearly run out of offensive armament, and all Iran does is give him ‘the finger’. Worse than that, they have successfully attacked some of our infrastructure, interfered with the water flow in four states, and we, supposedly one of the most powerful nations on earth, are incapable of stopping those attacks, or other to come.

Will they shut down the electrical grid next? Disable our internet and all it entails about our homeland defense? Shut off telephone services across the nation?

The president’s primary job is to protect the country --Trump has failed, and is continuing to fail, miserably. The “Jackass in Chief’ has already fired the experts who defended us against such possibilities, so I guess we’ll have to rely on the blubbering, half-a-drunk genius, Kash Patel, to protect us.

Trump rants about 'Fake News'. Here's absolute proof he knows whereof he speaks.

Just how stupid do the Republican movement think their supporters are?

While it has been generally accepted that the MAGA movement is one of undereducated, hardworking, blue-collar underclasses, no one thought they couldn’t read, or reason. No one, that is, except the GOP bosses who think they can tell their constituents any lie, embellish any falsehood, and pull the wool over their eyes with impunity and the perceived dullards b will believe every word.

Talk about ‘Fake news!”

In a completely insidious effort to deceive the rank and file, the Republicans are making outrageous claims against Democrats, Liberals, Trans, and probably the Girl Scouts, too, and claiming they were actual legitimate news reports – reports that come from newspapers that do not exist!

When is MAGA going to realize they are being manipulated, that their prejudices are being inflamed, their lack of political sophistication is being ridiculed and they are being mistreated like fools, and dolts.

Why must they withstand humiliation?

Republicans were just busted creating fake local news outlets to deceive swing state voters

Story by Henry Giardina • 10h • 3 min read

Ever heard of the Peach State Post? No? What about the Alaska Navigator? Not even The Ohio Pulse, Ohio’s “number one news source”?

You’d be forgiven, because all these outlets are as phony as a three-dollar bill. Why do they exist? To sway votes in key swing states, of course!

Despite Trump’s constant categorization of anything he doesn’t like as “fake news,” Republicans sure are committed to pumping out the stuff if it can help stop the inevitable midterm bloodletting. Thankfully, an explosive report from Judd Legum may have just dashed those hopes for good.

Looking into a network of seemingly independent news sources in key battleground states, Legum uncovered a common thread: sites like Iowa Voice and Maine Policy Updates might seem like places you can turn to for, you know, actual policy updates. But when you start reading some of the (almost certainly AI-generated) articles, something doesn’t quite add up.

Especially when you scroll to the bottom of the Peach State Post and read the fine print: “a sample publication for demonstration purposes.”

That’s because they’re all funded by the same dark money group One Nation. And that money leads straight to a Senate GOP Super PAC.

The sites feature articles tailored to foster a favorable opinion of Republican lawmakers in states like Ohio, Alaska, and Georgia, where Trump-aligned figures predict a tougher-than-usual midterm battle. The endgame? Getting Meta clicks and views and ideally converting them into outrage votes. “Collectively, One Nation has spent between $198,900 and $274,640 promoting these sites on Meta platforms,” Legum reports.

It’s not a simple case of touting the accomplishments of Republicans and putting down their Democratic opponents. According to Legum, these sites peddle in straight-up falsehoods, giving GOP candidates credit for changes they had nothing to do with, and falsely accusing Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff of wanting to “gut” a child tax credit initiative in Georgia. It’s a desperate move, but as we know too well, Republicans following Trump’s lead have no problem playing dirty. The bigger question is: is it legal?

In the sense that anyone can technically create a blog and claim that they’re a news source, sure. But at least one outlet, the Peach State Post, seems to be borrowing articles from an actual Atlanta news outlet, possibly without permission.

In an increasingly confusing media landscape, you could forgive gullible voters for taking what these strangely sleek-looking blogs have to say seriously, which is exactly what makes the move so dangerous. “Although social media has been the least trusted news source globally since 2016,” wrote one statistician in 2025, “a study revealed that over 50 percent with actual news articles. of responding internet users in 23 different countries use social networks as a way to keep up to date.”

AI has made the problem even worse, and it doesn’t help to learn that 40% of Republicans or Republican-leaning voters get their news from Meta, where AI slop is regularly integrated. For Americans without a high school degree, the number rises to 45%.

President Donald Trump set off alarm bells on Tuesday after he called into MAGA media personality Wayne Allyn Root’s show and suggested that he was open to declaring a national emergency for elections.

Trump has frequently called for American citizen protestors to be shot down in the streets.

“Can’t we just shoot them in the legs” he asked at a rally in Washington, DC.

He has also called for the murder of petty criminals and immigrants crossing over the border.

Now, in his own words he is not denying he might resort to a coup in order to keep himself, MAGA, and the Republicans in power regardless of the outcome of the midterm elections. In their bloodlust for control, for the total elimination of our democracy, will the Republican congress deny their oath as if it was just another filthy invective from Trump’s mouth?

Are he, Vance, Hegseth, Miller, Katel looking to entice an insurrection? He must know the American people will never stand for such treachery, such treason, and will immediately take to the streets in protest.

Will citizen soldiers assassinate their neighbors, shoot them down where they stand, as they do in Iran and so many other countries ruled by tyrants and despots.

Don’t believe he said it?

Trump sets off alarm bells by agreeing with MAGA host he can ‘declare a national security emergency for elections’

President Donald Trump set off alarm bells on Tuesday after he called into MAGA media personality Wayne Allyn Root’s show and suggested that he was open to declaring a national emergency for elections in order to force through the SAVE ACT.

“So let me put an idea in your head, OK? Because it’s so hard to get the Senate to do anything — now they’re on recess — they don’t get anything done. If they never get the SAVE America Act done**, you have the right to declare a national security emergency for elections,”** Root began, adding:

And the Supreme Court ruled in 1983, under Reagan, that INS vs. Chadha– that if you declare a national security emergency as the President of the United States, they can’t challenge it.

It can only be overturned by a two-third vote of both houses of Congress.

So if you do this in the next month, we will get photo ID, proof of citizenship, and a limit to mail-in ballots, and you don’t even need the Senate’s vote.

“Let me just say that stranger things have happened,” Trump replied, adding, “OK, I’ll leave it at that.”

CNN anchor Jake Tapper shared the clip and added, “There is zero reason to not take Trump at his word that he and his team are planning something alarming to disrupt the midterms and beyond.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) added, “Donald Trump wants to take over American elections. Senate Democrats are prepared to combat his unprecedented, illegal efforts at every turn**. Your vote belongs to you.  We will ensure it stays that way.

Fox News’ Tomi Lahren delivered a scathing rebuke of the Republican Party on Monday, declaring in an X post that the GOP is an “utter embarrassment” and has “failed us so dismally”.

The incompetence and blundering failures (not to mention the outright lies) of Trump and the Republican MAGA movement have become so profound even Fox News is appalled.

War, death of our soldiers, unaffordable groceries and gas, severe cuts in the social safety nets, corruption on a grand scale, millions denied affordable healthcare, our very right to vote being challenged has aroused the ire of America’s most conservative voice, and even they have had enough,

Not even America’s most liberal voices could not amplify the failures pointed out below, and for Fox to comment in the way they did, is stunning!

Whether their viewers will finally realize how they have been duped out of their vote and democracy by a cadre of billionaires, non-tax paying corporations, and plutocrats is another question.

Fox News Host Torches GOP as an ‘Utter Embarrassment’: Republicans Have ‘Failed Us So Dismally’

Story by Kathryn Wilkens • 7h • 2 min read

Tomi Lahren

Fox News’ Tomi Lahren delivered a scathing rebuke of the Republican Party on Monday, declaring in an X post that the GOP is an “utter embarrassment” and has “failed us so dismally” that some Americans are turning to socialism.

Lahren co-hosts Fox News’ The Big Weekend Show. She also hosts the opinion program Tomi Lahren is Fearless on Outkick, which is owned by Fox Corporation.

Her initial Monday post read:

Let’s be frank about it, some Americans are turning to socialism because Republicans have failed us so dismally that even the most destructive economic model imaginable feels palatable to people who are struggling to make ends meet and buy groceries.

And I’m not talking about Gen Z brats who want to be influencers and wear Alo yoga**, I’m talking about middle class working families** who don’t indulge on luxuries and just try to make it with a little leftover each month.

In a subsequent reply to her own post, she continued:

I’ll add, these politicians touting the Iran war and egging it on to never-ending status are most likely all invested in the military industrial complex and don’t give a rat’s a** how much you’re paying at the pump or the grocery store because they’re getting filthy rich. The uni-party is an abomination and outside of [Rep. Tim Burchett] u/timburchett [R-TN] and maybe a couple others, the GOP is an utter embarrassment.

Delivering the latest on the U.S. conflict in Iran, President Donald Trump told Axios on Sunday that he’s “low keying it” and “only semi-negotiating” with the Iranians.

According to a Brown University estimate cited by NBC News in June, “Americans have spent an additional $40 billion on gasoline” since the start of the war. Not to mention, a late July poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that 41% of Americans were worried about being able to afford groceries in the coming months, a sharp increase from 24% in April. 1,165 adults were surveyed, with a margin of error of +/- 3.7 percentage points.

Trump, the Republicans, or your lying eyes?

Gee, I wonder why all you hear Republicans complain about is men in women’s sports.

They never seem to mention the incompetence of Trump and his sycophantic administration.

They never make note that the Strait of Hormuz was open and functioning – oil was flowing – and the Iranians agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons in exchange for the return of I.5 billion of their embargoed funds while agreeing to international inspections and the lessening of some sanctions.

Now the strait is closed, the world’s markets are in free fall. And Iran can manufacture all the “A’ bombs they wish in complete secrecy.

The Republicans never make note of our failing economy, the housing shortage, runaway inflation, the exorbitant price of gas and groceries, the cost of imported goods because of illegal tariffs, the attack on our right to vote, our industries at a virtual standstill, unemployment growing every day, our defensive arsenal nearly depleted in a war Netanyahu conned Dumbass Donny into (or bribed by showing him pics of a slimy old man assaulting thirteen-year old girls – (were they all girls one might wonder?)

They imply we are stupid, they say prices are going down when every jackass in government is lying through their government provided store- bought teeth.

FDR said, “There is nothing to fear but fear itself”. But that is all the GOP has. Bereft of workable policies they promote fear of gays, fear of trans, fear of liberals, fear of democrats, fear of a non-existent Antifa, and most importantly they claim Communism, Marxism, and Socialism are America’s biggest treat while Trump has invested hundreds of billions in US companies, the very essence of basic communist practice. – but as long as they can keep scaring you out of thinking about your failing families and hating people you don’t even know, they'll successfully continue the big con.

You voted for their lies, if you do it again, you’ll get what you deserve.

We are under the heels of tyrants and murderers and only our votes can save us.

America, we are under attack from within. And it’s not the non-existent Antifa, it’s not a make-believe communist party, and it’s not from immigrants eating your pets; It’s from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Republican party and now that they have let the wolf out the door, they are powerless to control it.

Who are these domestic terrorists? MAGA and the Republicans who are too fearful to confront what they have unleashed.

The very minute a politician stands up for his beliefs, be him Republican, Democrat, or. Independent if they in any way conflict with Trump or his anti-American policies the doors fly open and a cascade of death threats besiege him, his wife, and his children.

Goon, thugs, and cowardly punks are at Trump’s beck and call and he releases them unsparingly with a casual coded message, and where the FBI and Justice Department would previously investigate, indict, and convict the perpetrators, those institutions, like Hitler’s Gestapo, only intimidate the victims with false charges, or murder them in the streets.

As long as Republicans remain in power the citizenry and their Representatives will live in fear, afraid to invoke their constitutional rights – increasing fearful to even vote – and we will live under a system of tyranny and despotism until it is eliminated by the will of the people.

'These people will kill me': Conservative insider fears MAGA 'crazies'

Story by Adam Lynch • 14h • 3 min read

President Donald Trump is more than just the man. He’s also a movement — and that movement is dangerous, says one White House insider and a former politician.

“I had a former client, member of Congress, who in 2017, he supported Ted Cruz, right? This guy was not a radical, not some flaming Republican RINO. [He endorsed] Jeb Bush first and Ted Cruz. And then at the end, endorsed Trump,” Republican strategist Rick Wilson told “Left Hook” host Wajahat Ali. “… The very first town hall after Trump has inaugurated, he goes and he's in the town hall meeting and a guy stands up, red hat guy, and says, ‘are you going to vote with Mr. Trump 100 percent of the time?”

Wilson said his client answered “probably not ... if it's bad for the people in our district. I'm going to support you first. “But the red hat guy wasn’t through with him, and demanded again if the legislator would support Trump 100 percent.” Again, the legislator demurred, putting voters over Trump.

[When it was over] his wife had received 10 death threats about their children,” said Wilson. “Their children's school had been doxxed. The wife's workplace had been doxxed. And he left Congress. He was like, [screw] it, I'm out. These people will kill me. And this was not a liberal. This was not a Democrat. This was not a progressive.”

And that is only continuing,” Wilson raged. “January 6th, in part, was a success for Trump because members of Congress knew he would send a mob to murder them. And so these guys have lived in fear for so long, they have no moral standing at all.”

I now believe there is a federal level of corruption

Ninety-nine percent of threats, death threats, swatting, doxxing and bullying in this country “comes from the right,” said Wilson, growing angrier. “The people that have threatened us ... who have crawled over our fence and banged on our door, the people who have pulled guns on us in the last 10 years, they have — every single one of them — been MAGA,” said Wilson. “In my 35-year career as a Republican consultant, I got one death threat from one Democratic-leaning person, and it turned out he was severely mentally ill**. I get a death threat every day or two.** And it's been that way for 10 years because you can be murdered if you oppose Trump. That's okay with the MAGA base. And the truth of the matter is [Republicans] are living in fear. They live in terror of being murdered by crazy people.”

Ali referenced Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide who served as assistant to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows during Trump’s first administration before she testified about Trump’s alleged attempt to sic MAGA zealots on his own vice president during the January 6 riots.

“Donald Trump threw him to the wolves and said, ‘all right**, have at him. Go get him. He's a traitor.’** So, Republicans see this and they're like, ‘all we need is Trump to target us, and then there'll be stochastic terrorism against us,’” said Ali.

Meanwhile the politically motivated murders of people like Melissa Hortman and others keep racking up as the GOP gets more radicalized, Ali added.

“And the three white men who tried to kill Donald Trump are all former Trump voters, white men with guns, former Trump voters,” Ali pointed out.

Along with banning books, the German state issued edicts controlling the content of the press. By the early 1940s, the state began to encourage- then it required- citizens to spy on and report their neighbors. It’s no longer past as prologue. It’s present

The following brilliant article clearly delineates the state of America today, and the terror it implies.

This may be the most important article you may ever read!

Opinion by Sabrina Haake • 1h • 4 min read

© provided by AlterNet

In the 1930s, a conservative social movement took root in Germany urging good citizens to hype their nationalism and reassert ‘pure’ German virtues. Promoting social cohesion, the movement demonized intellectuals and attacked racial and sexual diversity in all forms. In 1933, in pursuit of its nationalist agenda, the movement began to ban books scorned as “intellectual,” eventually burning books that supported diversity of thought or culture of any kind.

Along with banning books, the state issued edicts controlling the content of the press. By the early 1940s, the state began to encourage- then it required- citizens to spy on and report their neighbors.

It’s no longer past as prologue. It’s present.

It used to be easier to relegate the horrors of Nazi Germany to the past, thereby confining them to history, even while struggling to understand how Germans let it happen. It’s no longer a struggle. Every day under Trump 2.0, the mystery unravels: Trump keeps trotting out one horrific act of lawless cruelty after another, and Americans keep going to concerts, taking the children to school, and living their lives. Last week when a conservative UFC fighter said the cult-like frenzy of Trump rallies showed him “how Hitler happened,” it was plainly relatable.

It’s no longer a mystery, and it’s no longer hyperbole. As of 2026, 23 Republican-led states have passed laws reminiscent of Nazi Germany, including laws that ban books and discussions, laws that force media content, laws through which the state controls private medical decisions, laws that mandate Bible study in public schools, and, most ominous of all, laws that encourage vigilante citizens to turn on their neighbors for a state reward.

And to do it, it has completely weaponized the U.S.

Watch the warning signs of tyranny return as history shows how free societies are pushed toward collapse

Led by a deranged figurehead who keeps lying to the American public about everything—Iran, the price of gas, climate change—authoritarianism is America’s newest deadly virus.

Trump’s false claim that the 2020 election was stolen has so successfully infiltrated the GOP that over 130 election deniers are running in November’s midterms across 35 states from North Carolina to Arizona. But no state has embraced the lie and attendant barbarity more than Texas.

Although Texas is best known for paying bounty hunters to hunt down scared women seeking an abortion, Gov. Greg Abbott became a national poster boy for cruelty after he intentionally stripped Medicaid from two million Texans, most of them children. He also vetoed a state proposal to feed them during a SNAP freeze, despite causing childhood hunger through maniacal enforcement of state-forced birth.

Not to be outdone, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, now campaigning for U.S. Senate, led 17 GOP states in a lawsuit before the US Supreme Court trying to set aside Joe Biden’s election win in 2020. As argued by the Lawyers Defending American Democracy, Paxton was trying to “cast doubt on whether truly democratic presidential elections” would ever be held in America again.

Shortly after Paxton’s legal stunt, Texas State Bar officials urged regulators to discipline him for other serious ethical misconduct. Paxton was later indicted on two counts of first-degree securities fraud, counts he later settled by paying restitution.

Trump-endorsed Paxton used the highest levers of power to challenge election procedures where Trump lost, in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. His lawsuit was rejected—alas, Texas can’t control other states—but Paxton’s singular drive to impose his Christo-fascism on the nation remains.

Paxton sics Texans on Texans

The Texas GOP’s proclamation that, ‘what really matters most to Texans is “freedom, opportunity, and economic prosperity,” beggars the question, ‘freedom for whom?’ All demographics of Texas, even straight white men, should be horrified as state republicans build a massive police state in mimicry of the most horrific chapter in human history.

In the early 1930s, as Hitler was beginning his political ascent in Germany, one of his first moves was to encourage citizens to relay information about their neighbors, family, and friends to the state. The Gestapo, which grew into Hitler’s most effective instrument of terror, soon operated with a network of thousands of informants.

Texas has passed replica initiatives. Abbott called on “licensed professionals” and “members of the general public” to report any parents of transgender minors to state authorities, if these individuals believe the parents are providing their minors with private gender-affirming medical care. Paxton wholeheartedly endorses the “state informer” model and sells it by labeling such parents “child abusers.”

Siccing vigilante Texans on other Texans isn’t limited to hunting parents of trans youth either. Texas’ anti-abortion law also sets up a citizens’ gestapo. Texas authorizes private citizens to enforce the state’s abortion ban by suing abortion providers and anyone else who helps a woman seeking an abortion in any way, including her husband, parents, neighbor, friends, family members, even her taxi or Uber driver. If the lawsuit shows the state’s ban was violated, the vigilante, under state law, will collect a bounty of at least $10,000 and attorneys’ fees, a feature designed to attract ghouls and intimidate citizens.

Draw your own conclusions

Ken Paxton’s goal of an all-powerful state with unfettered powers to dictate speech, generate hate, and control thought by force should alarm anyone with a passing knowledge of history.

Using the power of the state to turn citizens against each other, encouraging, rewarding, and requiring vigilantism, is sinister. Texas’ expansion of state power not only mocks Paxton’s campaign brag that he “takes on” governmental overreach, it also marches in goosestep with one of the most dangerous regimes known to man.

Trump's proposed Headstart rule would reduce the amount of money Head Start centers could spend on administrative overhead from 15 percent to five percent, thus saving the government an estimated $2.2 billion.

Once again, Trump and his Republican administration are trying to balance the books on the backs of the poor, the needy, and most importantly, children.

Because the treasury is facing huge shortages realized by obscene tax cuts for those already obscenely wealthy, as well as the costs incurred by an insane, useless and needless war, they have to raise money somewhere, or else reduce expenses.

So, they slash Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Aid to Dependent Children, veteran’s benefits, SNAP benefits and every segment of the social safety net to replace those lost funds.

They couldn’t care less if the people suffer –even their own MAGA supporters—who rely most heavily on those services,

They are hollowing out America, sucking out the resources that once made us the envy of the world but are now viewed as the suckers of the world.

We voted for this abuse; we gave up our rights and our freedoms based on lies and duplicity --is this the ‘Golden age of Prosperity’ we were promised – inflation out of control, food prices spiraling daily, gas and electricity damn near out of reach, housing unaffordable with couples now having to wait until their forties before they can own  a home of their own, healthcare a fading reality, our military might depleted leaving us susceptible to an attack on our homeland, foreign hackers swarming our institutions because they fired the experts the experts who protect us to save more money for Musk and Trump; lies, lies, and more lies.

Where will it end, America? A nation shrunken and ruled by billionaires and plutocrats, lording over a society fighting over scraps, or…?

Trump moves to gut education and meals for low-income kids

The Trump administration is plotting a sweeping overhaul of Head Start that could threaten childcare for more than half a million children across the country.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced Thursday a proposed rule that would “increase access” to Head Start by “capping the cost of administrative overhead and reducing compliance-driven activities.

The proposed rule would grant states the authority to set certain standards, including rules on class size and student-adult ratios, education requirements, background checks, and transportation practices. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has claimed that Head Start lost more than 100,000 slots during the Biden administration due to “burdensome paperwork .”Vox’s Rachel Cohen Booth argued on X that the proposed changes would mean “larger class sizes, fewer staff and credential requirements, reduced health and family services, and potentially shorter hours.”

Without federal regulations to set the bar, the quality of care will likely depend on a

person’s zip code. The proposed rule would also give parents more control over “structure and curriculum,” marking Head Start programs as yet another arena for President Trump’s inane culture wars.

The proposed rule would reduce the amount of money Head Start centers could spend on administrative overhead from 15 percent to five percent, thus saving the government an estimated $2.2 billion, according to Alex Adams, the assistant secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

But Yvette Sanchez-Fuentes, senior vice president of Start Early in Illinois, told NPR that administrative costs are used to help fill the gaps for children who need special support. “If you, for example, have children with disabilities you [can use] some of those funds to pay for additional special services or staff with specialties who could come in and support kids,” she said. In a press release, HHS claimed that the money saved would be reinvested back into the program “to preserve or expand” spots for more than 200,000 children—making it unclear whether the change would actually create new spots, or just prevent them from disappearing.

Democrats have already condemned the rule as an “attack on children” and promised to fight for Head Start, which currently provides early childhood education, as well as nutrition and health and family support services to more than 700,000 children.

President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that gasoline prices could climb again as the conflict with Iran continues.

'

Rather than admit to his own blithering incompetence, Trump tries to blame high gas prices on the oil companies.

Believe me, they aren’t saints and have been known to exploit international difficulties, but still, it is a matter of supply and demand.

Dumbass Donny caved in to Netanyahu either because he’s a moron, or Bibi has photos of a certain pervert with teenage children. Either way, every former president since George Washington knew if you messed with Iran, they would shut down the Strait of Hormuz and hold the world hostage; but not the Dullard in Chief.

Yep, fools rush in…

So, now in an ever-continuing stream of lies – lies even MAGA stalwarts are beginning to challenge – Trump again tries to blame someone else for his astounding lack of.. of everything!

‘ICE is getting a bad rap because immigrants are eating people’s pets’ – ‘Vandals slashed the reflecting pool’ – ‘all Democrats are Communists and that’s why America is a failing nation’ – you get the idea.

He’s a pathetic, sick, aging sociopath and think we’re all stupid.

Trump warns gas prices could rise again: 'We may have to send it up'

Story by Claire Carter, Washington Examiner • 10h • 2 min read

President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that gasoline prices could climb again as the conflict with Iran continues, saying lower prices would return once the war is over.

Speaking in Las Vegas, Trump touted his administration's economic success, but acknowledged how the war with Iran, which led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, has affected gas and oil prices for Americans.

"As soon as the situation with Iran ends, oil is going to go down, and we will have completed something in such a short amount of time, that is a miracle," Trump said.

"When oil goes down, it's going to go down very rapidly and is already happening. We may have to send it up again. We may have to — you know what happens when we send it up," Trump later added, referring to prices reacting to warfare. "But we don't have to. But when the oil and gasoline go down, everything else goes down."

Oil and gas prices have fluctuated as a result of the conflict in the Middle East, with markets reacting strongly to U.S. strikes on Iran and Tehran's actions in the strait. On Wednesday, AAA reported the average price of gas was $4.08 per gallon.

The Trump administration has been under pressure to answer for the war's effect on prices for Americans. Earlier this week, the president expressed his displeasure with Chevron and Exxon Mobil for making “too much” in profits during the second quarter of this year.

“They’ve got to give some of that back to the public, and they better cut the retail price, the consumer price. Too much money,” he said in the Oval Office on Monday. “You’re surprised I’m saying it? I’ll say it loud and clear. I’m not happy about it.”

Gas prices fell during June and into early July as Washington and Tehran made progress on peace negotiations, agreeing to a 60-day preliminary ceasefire extension in mid-June. But the ceasefire has since fallen through, sending oil and gas prices upward again.

Trump has also voiced optimism about Iranian-Omani talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz through which one-fifth of the world's oil supply flows. The president said if peace talks fall through, Iran will "get hit very hard."

Two families, one America?

I wonder if any MAGA cultist ever stops to consider the Mexican he sees mowing lawns will soon be going home to his modest house where his family waits.

A wife, maybe two children, enjoying some aspects of life, and just like the rest of us, beset by some problems. Money Is always a problem, but he does okay. His salary covers almost everything, but because they want more for the children maybe she covers some shifts at Walmart on weekends and one night a week. This allows little Rosa to continue her dance lessons and provides for Jimmy’s uniform for he short-stop position on the (ironically) the Republican Clubs Little league team.

Their days have to be carefully arranged because a parent must be at home when the children leave for school and a parent must be home when they come back.

They attend mass every week, the same mass the cultist attends, only the language is different. They never miss a PTA meeting, help the kids with homework, and see that, despite the cost, their children are stylishly dressed so they are not embarrassed in front of their peers.

Like the cultist Christmas and Easter are special with extended family gathering, gifts are plentiful if mostly inexpensive, and usually each of them has secreted some funds to buy each other a small gift.

They love each other, they love and sacrifice for the children just like the cultist does. The only difference between the two families are the colors of the skin.

Do you think the cultist thinks these things as he’s driving by?
