Gamarjoba guys! I really need some help figuring out which neighborhoods / residential complexes are worth considering. Right now I’m researching areas in and maybe a bit outside of Batumi that are actually nice to live in long-term.
I’d really love to have a sea view, but I know complexes like Orbi are more tourist-oriented. I’m looking more for apartments with a proper full kitchen and a separate bedroom — something comfortable for everyday living, not just short-term stays.
Would really appreciate recommendations on:
I also heard it’s important to pay attention to the heating system, since I definitely wouldn’t want to rely only on AC during winter.
I’d be incredibly grateful for absolutely any advice or personal experience 🙏
How to find ? Not CBD Do you have any place you can recommend?
Hello, is there any IT business owner in their 20s here?

Helllo, we together with bunch of guys are looking forward to travel around Georgia. Do you know where it would be best to hire a private bus/limo from Kutaisi to Batumi where we could chill out, drink some beers along the way? Thanks. Appreciate in advance
I want to go try Chocolate Cognac at this local winery, but I don't want to do the full day tour, I only want to do that one place. They're willing to do a private tour, minivan for 6 ppl, half a day, $60 per person, they'll pick us up somewhere central in Batumi, we go drink chocolate Cognac and try other stuff they make there, tour of the winery, and because it's just us they can also stop at a waterfall or something.
Anyone up for it?
There is a video of trash eating cows in batumi waste dump, i have never seen such a disgusting thing in my life, indians are more hygienic than georgians in comparison. I was jn batumi for a while and i dread at the thought of the quality of food i consumed during my stay there, whole city smells like shit and its full of mold. Why is any one proud of living in georgia when they are 3rd world inhabitants if not lower?
I am going backpacking all over beautiful Sakartvelo and there is lots of places with Bears. Throughout all my travels I have had bear spray but I went to many stores in Batumi like “Tactical” and could not find anything.
Do you know where i can get bear spray for backpacking?
Gmadlobt for your help in advance :)

Hello everyone. I’m an American expat currently renting in Batumi near the beach area. I’ve been staying in the same apartment since November and have always paid rent on time.
I was just informed today that starting next month, the rent will increase from $500 to $1000 for the summer season, with July and August even higher.
Because of this, I’m now looking for possible alternatives in Batumi.
Does anyone know of:
a studio or 1-bedroom apartment,
reasonably quiet,
decent internet,
around $400–$600 per month,
preferably long-term friendly?
’m quiet, retired, and reliable with payments.
Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
