My Startup Growth?

Hey! I have been working on this startup with my friend that converts plastic waste into stronger plastic used in furniture and appliances

We have been facing one issue that is, collecting the right plastic. Many contractors here don't classify the plastic and i agree that can be hard job while maintaining speed of delivery. Our a lot of time goes in classifying the plastic. So a portion plastic is not useful to us but now we own it so we had to manage it. A new problem we were facing

So we thought we are not just recycling the plastic but now we are also classifying it, and the contractor needs that for better delivery. Funny, but yeah we opened our another branch solving this. And now we are classifying the plastic for the contractors, it was much faster to generative revenue this way

It's funny but yeah sometimes a new idea comes out of older idea

Target your 10 years of growth in next six months - Elon Musk

So here we have a big advice from absolutely the first trillionaire of 21st century. Yes bro literally has ADHD but the advice is not ignorable

Targeting 10 years of growth in 6 months, You may not achieve the growth of 10 years but will definitely achieve more than the growth of 6 months so yes the advice makes sense

What are your views on it?

I personally liked it

Rising Startup Culture

I was coming back from work and met a group of students from the same coaching i used to go. They are also preparing for Engineering, So i asked them "What branch are you aiming for?" They said, We have an idea and we want to build a startup. We don't care what branch we get, just it should be a centrally funded College.

So i asked them, Why not Engineering? If you have get a good College you might even get a 1cr package at MNC, If you keep working hard

Their answer was really amazing

They said

2 years back we used to dream of getting into a good college and getting an 1cr package. But will i be unique after that? There are many people who have 1cr package in MNCs. What will make me different than others. I want it to be my vision and my Startup

Honestly, We need students like this. Seeing this feels like we are stepping more towards innovation and that makes me happy

Are Indian parents the biggest barrier to entrepreneurship?

Whenever student entrepreneurship is discussed, one reason comes up again and again

"My parents won't support it."

Many parents encourage Good grades, A stable job, Campus placements, Higher studies

And honestly, it's understandable. Most just want financial security for their children

But at the same time, entrepreneurship often requires Taking risks, Uncertainty, Failure, Years without guaranteed results

So here's the question:

Are Indian parents the biggest barrier to entrepreneurship?

Or are students using their parents as an excuse for not taking action?

What do you think is the bigger obstacle:

Parents

Lack of money

Lack of skills

Fear of failure

Something else?

Curious to hear different perspectives.
