Blacklyte Kraken Pro... very disappointed and frustrated with them.

I paid premium money for the Blacklyte Kraken Pro and expected premium quality and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating from the very beginning.

When the chair arrived, I genuinely believed parts were missing because one side of the backrest had no rail while the other side did. The assembly instructions were also confusing, the lever position did not match the documentation, and the included screwdriver setup added even more frustration during assembly.

What made the situation worse was the initial response I received from Mary, which came across as rude and dismissive rather than understanding and professional. When customers spend this kind of money on a premium chair, they expect support that reflects the premium branding of the company.

After finally putting the chair together, I discovered the chair has noticeable left-to-right wobble. Even after tightening everything properly, the chair still shifts enough that it genuinely feels unstable when sitting in it. I sent Blacklyte a video showing the issue, and instead of offering a meaningful resolution, I was told by their QC department that this amount of movement is “completely normal” due to the chair’s “Frog Mechanism” design.

What disappointed me even more was that throughout the process, I was repeatedly asked to revise or update my review after being offered a small $40 refund. To me, that refund does not come close to matching the premium price of this chair or the overall experience I had.

To be fair, Stella’s communication itself was professional and polite. However, the overall handling of the situation left me feeling dismissed rather than genuinely helped. A premium gaming chair should inspire confidence and stability, not make the customer question whether the chair is functioning correctly every time they sit down.

At this price point, I simply expected far better quality control, better assembly documentation, and a more customer-focused resolution process.

How soft is the seat on the kraken pro?

Looking to get a nicer gaming chair, currently have one of the DPS chairs from Costco but the leathers falling/flaking off. Want to get a more premium chair however it seems like most premium chairs have very firm seats by design which isn’t what I want, but I see the kraken pro seems to be a bit softer?

Quality Control Issues - Atlas Lite Desk

Has anyone gotten anything from Blacklyte recently with QC issues? my desk, 70.9" Atlas Lite, finally came in. Full Disclosure and transparency, I used a freight forwarder in tacoma to ship the desk up since I'm up in Alaska.

When the desk arrived, to my disappointment, that it was chipped in the corner right next to the logo. My first thought was to take it up with my freight forwarder, however upon inspecting the box, it was pretty much pristine minus some scuffs from sliding in transit. Also I didn't Notice the chipped piece in the bag the desktop came in. I can provide photos of the box but I have no reason to believe it was damaged in shipping, I also declared the value of the desk and bought shipping insurance just in case.

The 2nd issue i noticed is that after assembling the desk and finally getting the last screws on, when it came time to plug it into the controller, I noticed that I never received the extension cable to be able to connect whichever far leg depending on where i mount the controller.

I've been seeing posts that they aren't very responsive however when I did initially order they were very responsive to my shipping question since I ordered around the time of a sale and they ensured me promptly that they were experiencing an influx of orders.

Any advice as to what I should do next? It was a hassle to get the desk up here, so I don't want to return it, but it also wasn't cheap nor was what I received acceptable to any consumer.

TL;DR: Got my desk and it was chipped and it doesn't work because I don't have the proper extension to reach the controller.
