r/Bookplates

I brought this book recently and it has a heraldic crest or ex libris bookplate but I can’t figure out its origins

Edit: to add some information the book is from 1822 and is Parisian (French) in origin although I am not sure whether the crest is or not, the binding has some sort of initials cypher and it looks like an M and S
