Flock knows who we are and I hate it

The flock cameras popping up in town have gotten intrusively out of control.

I decided to check out deflock.org (shows you where flock cameras have been installed(highly recommend you use it yourselves)) to be aware of how bad its gotten in town... it takes me 3 minutes to get on the highway and I make that commute DAILY and daily for who knows how long Ive been passing FIVE of them.

Women are being stalked through these cameras, your kids' playgrounds are being monitored by those same creeps. We can all pretend itll go away if we pretend we dont see it but for your sake I sure hope youre content with your wives and kids being watched by people who I promise you dont want to protect them.

Found male dog (frenchie?), no collar, healthy & friendly, Wagoner County

This sweet boy walked into our garage in the Oneta Farms Development (Broken Arrow but Wagoner County). He’s very friendly, very well behaved, has accepted water and hot dogs. Any help reuniting him with his family deeply appreciated.

IL transplant with some Q’s

Hi everyone! I’m seriously considering relocating from Illinois (cornfield IL not Chicago IL) to the Broken Arrow area next year, and I’d love to hear about what life is REALLY like there. My family consists of me, my child, & my Mom. (Late 30s, tween, late 60s).

I’m looking for somewhere that feels friendly and community-oriented, has things to do without having to travel hours to do so. I do homeschool my daughter, (normal people, I swear we aren’t weirdo homeschoolers! 🫠) so would also like opinions on if there’s much of a homeschool community there as far as co-ops/meetups for kids.

I’m planning to visit with my daughter to scope out the lay of the land sometime this fall. I realize what’s available now as far as houses for sale won’t be next year. Any locations to seek out or to avoid looking while we are there would be so helpful and save me alot of grief. Google is only so much help.

Questions I have:
-What areas around Broken Arrow would you recommend for a family?
-What areas would you personally avoid, and why?
-What’s the general vibe of the people/community?
-How is traffic and getting around day-to-day? Traffic doesn’t scare me as I’ve lived in Boston previously lol
-What do you LOVE about living there that someone researching from Illinois might not realize?
-And what do you absolutely NOT love?

I know no place is perfect, and I’m genuinely looking for the good, the bad, and the real. We have had some big personal life changes this year and truly looking to make a fresh start somewhere else. Broken Arrow is one of my top contenders for our move.

If you’d rather send me a DM thats fine as well!

Thank you for your time and any wisdom/advice you have to offer!

Kinetic Fiber

I switched from Cox to Kinetic in April of 2026. Ever since I signed up I’ve experienced outage after outage after outage. Is this the experience for the rest of BA?

Kim's Daylight Donuts (81st & 145th)

When does Kim's Daylight Donuts cook the donuts? Few weeks ago i stopped by around 4:30am and they already had lots of donuts on racks. The donuts didn't taste like they were cooked in past 2 hours.

Daylight Donut on main street you can tell they were cooked within past hour if you go around 5:30am.

Ignorance is bliss

I guess if you are going to ignore the three no left turn signs, you may as well ignore the traffic cones as well.
