I’m a final-year Computer Engineering student from a Tier-3 college affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

I recently got an internship opportunity in a different city. It’s relevant to my field and I genuinely want to take it because getting a proper internship is already difficult.

The problem is that my HOD is not allowing any attendance relaxation for the internship. Since the internship is in another city, it obviously won’t be possible for me to attend regular college lectures at the same time.

I’m trying to understand what I can realistically do here.

• Is attendance relaxation for internships completely up to the college/HOD?
• Does Mumbai University have any provision for students doing internships outside their city?
• Can the college allow attendance relaxation or some alternative arrangement if I provide the offer letter and internship documents?
• If the HOD refuses completely, is there any proper way to escalate this to the Principal/University?
• Has anyone from a Mumbai University-affiliated college faced something similar?

Also, is my college/HOD’s approach normal, or are they being unnecessarily rigid?

I’m not looking to skip academics permanently. I just want to be able to complete the internship without losing the semester because of attendance.

Would appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with this.

How do you guys manage college(75% attendance) with skills and college academics specifically the ones having college timings 9 to 4 or similar. Saturday sunday bhi kaise kr lete ho, idhar skills me hi aadha time chala jata hai and weekends me alaas bhi aata hai + weekdays me college work + mushkil se ek kuch aadha ho pata hai

Can somebody help me with SPPU transcripts as I have applied online but I have my visa deadline so I need them ASAP!!!
Can I go there in transcript section and ask to speedify the process ? Will they give it to me on the same day or in a week as I have paid and I’m all done with application?
