How bad is Waterside really?

Hi, I'm interested in buying a house that's on a road off of Waterside - not too far from Chesham moor. I noticed a few posts saying to avoid Waterside and despite the house being relatively good it doesn't seem to have sold after a few months and I wondered if the two might be related. The street the house is on seems pretty nice, but I'm thinking about walking to and from Chesham station which would involve going along Waterside. And sometimes my elderly mother might visit and be walking around, so I wanted to know if I should be concerned or not?

commuting to london

hi guys, i've recently confirmed my offer to study law in london and am commuting into london from aylesbury but train tickets are absolutely extortionate (even with a railcard) and that does't even include the cost of getting from london marylebone to my uni. i was wondering if anybody had any tips or does a similar commute how they plan/finance it?

Where to live as a small family?

We live in a village outside Edinburgh at present and my partner has accepted a job at stoke mandeville hospital. Looking for places to relocate to. We have small children (5 month baby, 4yrs and 2yrs)

I have family in Stokenchurch near High Wycombe and partner's family lives in Watford. We are looking forward to moving closer to family!

Question is where is the best place to live- he doesnt mind commuting max 45 mins to the hospital. Don't want a house more than 500k.

We have been looking at southern areas of Milton Keynes like Bletchley and Tattenhoe. Would those be too far away to commute?

Dont really fancy High Wycombe. Or the villages so much as that's what we have had for the last 7 years.

And yes I think every day we are mad for moving with a small family but we feel its best we do it whilst the kids are young!

Any ideas?

Hidden Gems with kids

Hello,
I recently moved to Hertfordshire on the Bucks border and am looking for slightly quieter or less known places to take my son. The big farms costs quite a lot of money and we are (well I am) already bored of the local playground. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
Thanks!

Clubs to join in and around Chesham?

I recently moved to Chesham with my partner and we’re looking for clubs to join. We’re both late twenties so anything that skews a bit younger would be ideal. We’ve tried meetup but had no luck other than a walking group we found. We’d really love a regular book club or film club if anyone knows of anything like that nearby?
