Anyone know anything about the accident at Knotts Berry Farm today?

Knotts subreddit has a post saying that a little girl was killed on Calico River Rapids but I can’t find any confirmation. I truly hope this isn’t true. Has anyone heard details? I see the fire dept report on PulsePoint but it’s just “medical emergency”. Is she okay?

These conveyers are just so unsafe. :(

Movie theatre - thoughts?

I haven’t been to BP Downtown in a couple of months, but was walking by the “temporarily closed” “K” movie theatre yesterday and noticed the new signs about what’s coming soon - a takeover by Regency.

Doesn’t look it will be ready anytime soon by a longshot - maybe for this fall?

Anyone has any other info about potential opening dates, please share.

What OC cities and specific areas are least hostile to overnight RV street parking?

What OC cities and specific areas are least hostile to overnight RV street parking?

Hello, my disabled wife and I are homeless and live in a decent-looking 2002 27ft RV. We were parked in my dad's driveway in Buena Park, but his wife kept unplugging my wife's AC and things got ugly shortly before I could enact my plan to put on rooftop Solar.

Anyway, now we are wanderers, and after getting chased out of several of what I thought would be safe parks during the day and Walmart parking lots at night, I am feeling a bit dejected, and while I need to coordinate with various friends in various cities on various types of temporary RV parking permits, long term, I ask: what Orange County (or southern LA county (e.g. Lakewood, LB, etc.) cities, and even specific areas or streets are least hostile to clean, quiet, discreet RV overnight parking? Bonus points for being somewhat commutable to by bus and bike to Adventure City where I work, off Beach and Ball in Stanton/Anaheim.

My not-super-thorough research has indicated there aren't any colleges or cities with safe parking lot initiatives in Orange County unfortunately, but if you know of anything like that, run by Churches or social services or whatever, please let me know as well. Local RV parks are extremely unaffordable, but if you know of anyone offering private parking for a lived in RV that isn't absurdly expensive, please let me know as well.

Unfortunately, this struggle may ultimately just be the cost of living in the homelessness-criminalizing NIMBY hellhole known as Orange County.

Thanks for any help you can provide. Also, wife and I could use more local friends, especially stoners as my wife smokes a ton of 420 to manage her chronic pain. And I play rock piano, so let's jam. Anyway, thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
