after hundreds of sessions, the scenery after death changes. the first thing people do barely changes
Rhiannon went through a past life as a woman I will call Mary. it was a heavy life. children, constant work, several children dying, husband who was angry and short tempered, then his death too. Mary kept going until she was exhausted.
on her last day she was in bed with her children around her. she told them she loved them, took the last breath and immediately started rising out of the body.
then the scenery became strange. prismatic colors, little diamond shapes changing colors, almost geometric. she said it felt like cleansing. after that there was only white and this feeling that possibilities were endless.
I have watched this part happen in hundreds of hypnosis sessions. the scenery after death can be completely different. somebody sees family, somebody sees light, colors, a landscape, guides, a place that feels like home. but the first movement keeps coming back again and again.
the body dies and they lift out of it.
they are still conscious. they can look at the body. they can think. they can move. people with very different belief systems describe this, including agnostics and atheists who didnt come in trying to prove an afterlife.
after so many sessions I dont treat this like an interesting coincidence anymore. consciousness does not end when the body stops. the body is something we use here.
Mary's story also gave Rhiannon another lesson because she was terrified of losing people she loves. in that afterlife space she connected with a soul she knew now as her mother and recognised the same familiar energy from that old life.
we call it losing somebody because from this side they disappear. from the other side, they didnt disappear.
if fear of death or losing someone is controlling part of your life, this is one pattern I would pay attention to. the goodbye is real for the human personality, the grief is real, but the relationship is much bigger than one body.
