Le Blanc, Grand Velas - how are people affording this

Please know the question is somewhat facetious as I realize there’s all kinds of folks who have a lot of money. And i understand Cabo is not a budget destination. But I’m wondering, is there some kind of trick to getting a deal at these resorts? Or is everyone really paying $2k a night. We’re looking to go to Cabo in February (I realize that’s a popular time to travel to Cabo). We want a nice all inclusive experience, adult only, nice food and drinks, some type of a party scene or fun pool vibe would be good, a spa. While doing all the research, it seems like it’s either you pay this much per night, or you’re going to be disappointed. Is there nothing in between? I’ve been to a Riu and that’s not the type of thing we’re looking for.

Cabo Le Blanc or other

My wife and I I are planning to go back to Cabo, the first time we stayed at Le Blanc which we fear killed the rest of the resorts for us. It was amazing, we wanted to see if anyone has stayed there and maybe at other places like secrets or marquis and if it’s any worth trying them out as they are cheaper, or would we do ourselves a disservice by not staying at Le Blanc again. Thank you!

Scam or not????

We dumbingly entertained a sales person working for Vida Vacations at the SJD airport. He was offering tours at a “discounted rate” and as new travellers, we believed him. We payed him about $200 cash. We already regret it and now know that it was a bad decision. Please don’t be mean to us. My partner and I are both naive and wants to believe in the good of people. This however might be a really hard life lesson to learn…

At the end, he offered a free breakfast at Vidanta hotel. After reading the fine lines, we saw that the breakfast includes 90 minutes of presentation afterwards.

Should we trust the guy and go to the breakfast in hopes that he will give us tickets to our tours? Or is everything just a scam? Did anyone successfully get their tours with this kind of process?

Thank you. I appreciate any advice. My gut is telling to me just forget about it but is somewhat hopeful still.

Marquis Los Cabos Recs

Hello! We are a group of 6 women in our 40s staying at Marquis Los Cabos later this month to celebrate some birthdays. Is the restaurant at the hotel that costs extra worth it? Otherwise, which restaurants did you prefer?

Any other tips? Do we need to rent a cabana to ensure we get pool chairs? Did anyone do a boat tour that was worth it?

Thank you!
