I cannot stand the filter they use to blur the backgrounds it literally just looks like this

All the comments caught her saying it but she hasn’t even cared to respond or delete the original post.
I feel like it’s meant to be Gen Z’s, ‘Laguna Beach,’ and I’m slightly embarrassed to even have watched it. Laguna Beach felt more authentic even with it being scripted, and I feel like the kids in this show, with the exception of a few, seem to have curated tiktok personalities — I really think this is how this generation is. I understand that they’re all post-college age, but none of them seem to have the maturity that many would expect — if I didn’t know their age, based off their personalities, I would guess that they were in high school. They’re all nepo babies (nothing wrong with this), but none of them seem to have any grit, and I think maturity comes with having to pay your own bills, hard work, etc.
side note: dylan is so cringe — wannabe cowboy/actual asshole, please get that toothpick out of your mouth
Suede is the worst kind of person. She is a male-centered woman, who even after Jemma explained to, and probably vented/cried to many times about Dylan traumatizing her (it sounded like he depended on her emotionally while he struggling with his family issues/addiction and led her on), Suede pretended to be empathetic to seem like a good person. Then when she saw Dylan in person, she was performative enough to yell at him, even though her face was like😍😍😍 during all this.
I feel like if the roles were reversed, she would turn everyone against Jemma.
Suede is also so awkward, like she doesn’t know how to be a person, and rather than just speaking normally, she talks like tiktok…lol
Does anyone know where Suede’s claw clip from the episode 8 dinner party scene is from?
It looks a little silly that Brynn is crying in the last episode but I think the thing she can’t say without breaking the fourth wall is that she’s happy that her boyfriend has this opportunity to be on a reality tv show but is terrified of what it might do to him/their relationship. She knows how brutal reality tv can be from her time on dance moms
Everyone rides for Jemma but to me she comes off as a very angry person The scene at the party where she was screaming in emelies face and clapping was sooo trashy and classless. Like who behaves that way?? It’s giving ghetto. Don’t have anything good to say about Emilie but at least she kept her composure and didn’t act as ratchet as Jemma ew
A lot of guys seem sorta gay to me? Like Preston and sterling both seem like feminine .. am I the only one who thinks this??
So I am a tried and true reality tv connoisseur. I love a trashy reality tv show. This show is hitting all the boxes. I’m not sure if this is a Calabasas thing but the comfort these girls have in dating a guy who has deeply hurt their professed friends is insane. I can’t help but compare this to the Summer House scandal. Anywho Emilie and Suede are the worst. I’m not seeing Emilie getting enough hate. She has no understanding of how her actions harm others and worst of all she doesn’t care. All she cares about is male validation. Being chosen is of the utmost importance to her. I desperately wanted someone to steal Ben from her since “fighting over a guy is the lamest thing ever.” Suede is in the same boat. A terrible friend. To come in so hot riding for Jemma and then to rub Dylan’s kneecaps at the beach was absolutely insane. She felt like she was cuter than Jemma and that Dylan wouldn’t treat her the same way. Also I’m sick of her saying the word homegirl. I actually like Jemma. She’s funny and has morals. She desperately needs to get into therapy. Dealing with a narcissist is terrible and mind blowing. However, the time has passed for her to be oh so triggered by Dylan. Especially her willingness to double back and not pursue Nolan. Not good. I actually enjoyed watching everyone else. I liked seeing Preston. I actively can’t stand his mom as a RHOM fan and he has a great personality. Jodie was cool. Kimora was cool. They need more screen time. Dylan is a typical handsome fuck boy. Like there’s nothing there lol. Emma seems to growing out of the mean girl lifestyle so that’s always nice to see. Nicole I like her but her willingness to be cool with suede again after the Jemma thing didn’t sit right with me. She said all the right things to the camera but was wayyyy too passive in Suede’s face. Maybe she’s non-confrontational but your friend being a terrible person to someone else is the time to be confrontational. Despite my dislike of some people unfortunately they’re making great tv. This show is messy, slightly hilarious and I’m here for it.
hercy *kinda* spoiler
“hey big guy, you’re not going to the league”
its CRAZY how many different ppl tried to break the news to hercy that he’s not going to the NBA lol and should pick something else to do with his life. what was not clicking ?! 😂🫣
I just started Episode 5 - I'm at the scene where she's debriefing with Nicole. There's no way this girl Suede though it would fly to claim she was defending Nicole to Emma/"I stopped her right there!" when there's a literal tape of her NODDING ALONG to what Emma was backing up.
This might be one of the worst reality TV edits I've ever seen for a girl. Really hope rewatching this season forces some character development to occur
The only actual sane and mature person on this show is EMMA. She was a mean girl in high school and revealed that much of it was caused by her going through shit in her personal life ie. Parents divorce, anorexia, depression. Does that make being mean justified, no, but point is she took a step back, put in the work, grew, and it's clear that she CHANGED. The way she was defending people all throughout the show and trying to avoid slandering shows her true character. Only slip up she had was calling Nicole boring but that's really it. People like Nicole and Jemma are holding it over her head when all it would've took was a conversation, thus making them look like mean girls. Jemma basically calling her a ho, Nicole constantly bringing up her being mean to ppl in high school as if people can't change years later, like quit talking shit and have an adult conversation! The convo she had with Nicole at the dive bar was so unproductive because Nicole isn't as mature as she thinks she is and is around a bunch of enablers. Nicole is MESSSY. Everything Emma said about her not be trustworthy, middleman, etc. was all true. Jemma, Nicole, Suede, Kimora are a group of enablers... no wonder they all think and act like high schoolers
Does anyone else think there were strange and pointless cameos on this show? Howie Mandel for what? Mason Cibrian and Brandy. Was pointless and odd.
I just finished the show last night and I did actually enjoy watching it. It was just full of drama. However, I feel like they put all the cast members name in a hat and drew out like three names each time and were like you guys are gonna film together today. I feel like there was like no actual chemistry between the cast, even though they all apparently knew each other.?? if that even makes sense I don’t know. I also wanted to add considering they’re all 23 and up. They are all very immature. You would think they were actually still in high school.
So I’ve had this show on solely as background noise the past few days and happened to be looking at the tv during the Howie Mandel cameo in episode 6. I rewound it and watched it twice because it was so odd? Yet also funny. wtf was that?? Is he good?? Am I the only one who found that weird lol he went full “I like turtles” kid iykyk
Dylan needs to take that damn toothpick out of his mouth. Bro-it is not making you cool; you look like a fool! Why doesn’t anyone tell him.
That says alot about who jemma is as a person lol. Also Nicole does play both sides and talks crap. She just cried cuz she was called out.
I got through 4 episodes and turned it off. The girls are all ‘models’. The boys cosplay as cowboys and pro athletes. They’re all barely friends. Mildly interesting that some have celebrity fam, but the celeb cameos are drier than a Kylie Jenner lip kit.
Every few days they meet to stir up fake drama that no one seems to actually care about. Only Gemma seems committed to the bit. Suede and the rest can barely remember what they’re upset over.
Every episode is a PR trained ad for their IGs. Boring.
She was so hardcore that he was such a piece of 💩, a loser Jenna could do so much better and on and on.... then at a group outing on beach she shows up hanging all over him saying how he is such a sweetheart ect... like wth? Seriously?!? How do you start there to end up on him and not even the slightest heads up. Acting like she doesn't understand why it was shocking ..... just disgusting 🤮
Suede tells Dylan, “Don’t talk about women like that,” yet later says about Jemma, “Why is she so obsessed with a man who won’t even publicly claim her?” She pretends to support women, but it’s all an act. There isn’t a single ounce of sincerity in her words.
Nicole said, “Suede’s roster is full of A-listers like Drake.” Umm, no. She was simply spotted on a boat with Drake because she was involved with a 50-year-old man.
The reality is that most men don’t claim Suede and only use her for hookups. Babe, hookups and booty calls don’t equal real boyfriends.
Even if Suede and Jemma aren’t very close, no shit Jemma would be upset. Suede acted like a supportive older sister and seemed to be on Jemma’s side. It doesn’t matter whether Jemma and Dylan were officially together. Dylan still treated her badly, and Suede openly called out that behavior. CLOWN. NEXT.
Suede brooks has always been like this. I wouldn’t ever trust her as a friend, partner, business partner. She just social climbs her way into these prestigious circles and always has.
Does anyone else find this jemma girl sooo insufferable
