While developing my Toronto-based vigilante webseries Petit Demons, I realized most grounded vigilante mythology seems very tied to New York or the US in general.
Are there any Canadian street-level vigilantes/comic characters I should know about? Curious what already exists in that space.
Came across this 24 hour comic by Steve Rolston while cleaning my bookshelves.
Hi everyone!
My name is Dino Caruso. Here's some information about a new project releasing soon from the fine folks at Inservice Comics. 🙂

This is the big collection of George’s work published by Fantagraphics in 2024. George was born in the States but has lived in Vancouver since the 70s. Attached are pages from Truckin’, Mu: The Land That Never Was, and Fog City Comics.
Went to the mean exhibit of the TING comics and graphic arts festival yesterday

Honestly, comix are not my thing... so I know very little about these. But always fun to come across Canadian stuff.
A friend is helping Katherine Collins clean out her apartment and they found a case of these. Front and back covers and some interior pages shown here. Unlike the first issue, this one is printed on a thicker newsprint stock. No page count, but it’s thicker and a little smaller than the first issue. Copies are new, but there’s a bit of warping on the lower part of some copies, as they were stored in the box standing up.
If anybody is interested in a copy of this, feel free to message me. All proceeds will go to Katherine. I believe the Beguiling will also have some copies for sale after TCAF.
Anyone know where a complete digital run of 'Melody' can be found?
