Has anyone experienced something like this before? The unit is about 2years and 4 months old. Since the video was taken, that flappy bit has also broken off.

I have a Packtalk pro installed in my K1S. Yesterday I went on a ride mostly on the freeway with a couple of friends and I could not hear a single thing at 45 mph plus. Granted I have a loud exhaust, but when I switch to music it gets very loud, but when people talk, nothing and I have the volume all the way up when they talk. Here are my audio settings as well:
