Random thought: fishing games would be way more fun with an actual rod 🎣

Had a random thought — what if you paired a Switch with a fishing rod instead of just using a normal controller?

Obviously it’s still virtual fishing, but casting and reeling like this seems like it could make the whole thing feel a lot more immersive.

Would you actually play a fishing game this way, or would it get old pretty quickly?

To anybody saying that the game didnt use AI.

  1. in the demo version they stated that the graphic is 'supported by AI' or smt like that but in the actual release they delete the whole thing. Thats why I dont have a screenshot on that. you can believe it or not.
  2. Im posting another picture here for your reference. Look at the guitar on the wall. look at the guitar strings. the lower part of the guitar has 6 strings, very blurry. when it comes to the upper part, the guitar string magically became 5. also is less blurry. This usually is a obvious indicator that the image is using AI (just like same thing with AI is bad with fingers)

For any of u saying oh its their style bla bla bla pls tell me what style that is? LOL

im not saying this is bullet proof fact but as a game owner i have the right to post my questions.

And come in with your evidence to prove me wrong. Im not here for your BS.

👾 [Seasoned Saturday] Let's review Cast n Chill!

"Cast n Chill is a relaxing fishing game where you explore serene lakes, rivers, and oceans. Catch rare fish, upgrade your gear and reel in legendary catches - all with your loyal companion by your side. "

-----

I mentioned before that I would like to try a weekly thread to bring together the players in this sub and help foster fun debates around the best cozy games we all know and love! A lot of the time, we see new indie-game heres, so the focus of these posts is to dive into some of the old and known favourites.

So, the idea is to leave your review (think Steam review) of the game here, share what you liked, maybe your favourite moments, but also what you didn't like, and maybe your pet peeves. But I'm open to switching up the format, so happy to hear suggestions on that too :)

As usual, I will pin this post for everyone to see for the next couple of days. Let's have at it! 😊

Medium Bluegill Sunfish

Hey everyone, I am playing Cast n Chill for the first time and I decided to catch each fish and their size in each area before continuing to the next one.

Right now I am kind of stuck when it comes to the Medium Bluegill Sunfish. I am using the small rod with the basic bait (the first one) to catch it in the Fork but I can't seem to catch it after a few tries.

Any tips?
