guys I am looking for possible alternatives as I really tested a lot of chatbots lately and although I am happy with some, most of them were not good enough for me.

for reference, I tested crushon ai, secret ai, janitor ai etc but have been really disappointed especially by the characters memory.

the only ones who stood out in my test were momoka ai and candy

My experience with Tipsy so far 💎

I started using Tipsy because I wanted an AI chat app where I could actually get invested in the characters and stories, and I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected.

One of my favorite things is how many different characters and scenarios there are. Depending on my mood, I can have a cute/romantic conversation, create an entire storyline, roleplay, or just mess around and see where the conversation goes. I especially like being able to build longer stories instead of every conversation feeling like a bunch of random messages.

I’ve tried other AI character/chat apps before, but what keeps me coming back to Tipsy is being able to basically create my own little world and watch the story develop. Sometimes I’ll open it intending to chat for a few minutes and somehow end up completely invested in what’s happening. 😭

There are definitely things that could continue to improve as the app grows, but overall I’ve had a really fun experience with it. If you like AI characters, romance, roleplaying, or creating your own stories, I think Tipsy is worth trying at least once. 💎❤️

seen a few people here looking for an uncensored ai gf, so i figured i’d share my top picks

joi is the one i'd point most people to first - fully uncensored, image and video gen built right into the chat so the companion can send explicit content mid-conversation and it's the smoothest thing to use on mobile. it's added group chat and video calls recently too, though that side isn't as polished yet - if video calls are your main focus i'd point you to flirtcam over joi for now

ourdream is the pick if you want deep control over how she looks - build a gf from scratch with granular customization and it has a big library of preset scenes if you'd rather start from something than write everything yourself.

candy is the best all-rounder - memory that actually holds details across sessions instead of resetting, plus voice and mid-chat image gen.

secrets leans hardest into visual realism if that's your priority, output quality is a clear step up

swipey skips the setup entirely, swipe through profiles and you're straight into a conversation or build one from scratch if you'd rather

none of these have the filter problem that pushed people off the sub in the first place. i keep the full list here if anyone wants more details
