In Guangzhou province.
It was introduced in the early 1990s after Legend (old Lenovo) had made a few terminals and monitors as well as a few other PCs (maybe, I have yet to find examples- stay tuned). It ran a Chinese version of DOS that allowed Chinese Hanzi to be showed and typed using Wubi (first introduced on XT compatibles). It had a smaller form factor and was shipped with the CRT, at least according to the only boxed example o have found.
This machine here runs DOS although it looks reminiscent of a Dumb Terminal or a TRS-80 AIO. The HDD gives it away. It had a special Chinese Character Card that allowed it to show Chinese Hanzi. The exact usage of these is unknown but I’ve seen a few XianYu listings of these.
