After more than a year of work, my cousin and I finally finished our hand-drawn, interactive coloring book.

Hi everyone! 🩵

Hope it's okay to share this here. After more than a year of work, my cousin and I finally finished our first coloring book: Dreambook Stories.

We both went through similar journeys of chasing big dreams, doubting ourselves, losing ourselves, and trying to find our creativity again. That became the heart of this project. :)

We wanted to create something that felt like more than just a coloring book, so we included an original story (in English & Italian), relaxing music you can access through QR codes, little self-care exercises, journaling pages, and more to discover! (No AI used)

These are two of my favorite illustrations, and I really hope you like it. ❤️

(If anyone is curious about the book, I'm happy to share the link in the comments.)

Lloyd and the leopards in leg warmers - with glass rhinestones!

Yesterday’s post didn’t do the sparkles the justice they deserved, so I filmed it too. Here it is, reflecting in the setting sun!

I colored this page with alcohol markers, and then hand-glued glass rhinestones across the night sky and tapped on dots of fine glitter glue. SO SPARKLY! I think I’m going to need to bedazzle all every finished coloring book page in the future!

Just to recap my source book: This is the “Lloyd Lowers a Ladder for the Leopards in Leg Warmers” page in The Legendary Life of Lloydcoloring book. The author hides a little mouse on every page, and little details from the previous page will slide into the next one, too (this page, it’s muffins and stars).

Lloyd lounging with some ladybugs under a sparkly night sky!

Hey sparkle peeps! I am back with another rhinestoned coloring page from The Legendary Life of Lloyd. I colored this one last week and I thought it was finished at the time, but then I sparkled up that other page I posted a few days ago and realized this one still had some work to go. Now we have twinkling stars in the night sky and I am satisfied, haha. I also wrote the soundtrack last night for funsies using Logic Pro, just trying to capture the feeling of how happy the sparkles of this page make me feel.

Colored with Ohuhu alcohol markers, dabbed with spots of Stickles fine glitter glue, and sparked-up with glass rhinestones afixed using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.

Hope you all have a great day! Twinkle on, friends!

Turned a coloring book page into an ATC!

I made a little 2.5” x 3.5” paper frame so I could move it around on the coloring book page until I found what I wanted to frame. Then I outlined the card with a pencil, cut it out, colored it in, laminated it with holographic star lamination, and finally glued glass rhinestones on it. (Pro-tip; test your glue on non-pourous surfaces before committing. I didn’t, and these are totally going to fall off, haha).

This is a page from the coloring book, The Legendary Life of Lloyd. The mouse (“Lucky”) is hiding on every single page.🥰
