I've got a shelf of coloring books and I kept losing track of what I'd already done. I'd open a book, flip through, and have no idea whether I'd finished a page in it six months ago or never touched it. So I built an app for myself, and it turned into something bigger.
It's called Picturium. The core of it is a tracker — you add the books you own, mark pages as done or in progress, and see how far along each book is. You can add photos of your finished pages as you go.
There's also a gallery where people post what they've coloured, with the book and the materials they used. That part ended up being my favourite. Seeing four different people colour the same page completely differently is oddly addictive, and it's useful when you're stuck on what palette to use.
It's free — no limit on how many books you can track, no paywall on the gallery. Works on iOS, Android, and in the browser at picturium.art if you'd rather not install anything.
I'm the developer, so obviously I'm biased. What I'd actually like to know: if you track your books somehow already, what does your system do that an app would get wrong? I keep finding that people's paper methods are smarter than anything I'd have designed.

I got really into coloring a few months ago, specifically bold ones like Coco Wyo (which I’m obviously inspired by). Sometimes I’d be coloring and thinking “I just wish this bit was slightly different”, so I’ve started drawing my own!
