Got scammed
Hi, I bought an electric two wheeler Toxmo 318 in May 2025 for my ageing father. Over the next year, when the vehicle was under warranty, I had to visit the dealer several times to get battery replaced. Every few months one of the six batteries would die out. Each battery is 12V, taking the 6 batteries to 72V. I had the bill and the dealer did replace the batteries until the warranty period.
In the month of June, one of the battery has died in line with its tradition. I have hardly ridden the scooty. Their factory is in Haryana and I am in Ayodhya, UP.
I have two queries-
Can I go to consumer forum / court and get some legal closure? Or is it my bad judgement to invest in bad product?
Should I take the risk of buying a litium phosphate battery for this scooty?
Any suggestion is welcome.
