Cancelled Deposit Reservation for Filament Maker M1 & Shredder R1...WHY (and with no warning)???
I woke up to an email this morning stating the $50 pledge I made towards the Filament Maker M1 and Shredder R1 was cancelled during the middle of the night and that I will be refunded...why was it cancelled?? Does this mean I'm no longer able to get it at the discounted price, let alone the additional benefits from the campaign milestone goals?
I'm mad because I've spent $$$ on Creality products over the years (and with this campaign I'm pledging to spend more) and yet this is what happens?
Printed this ratten bowl that I just designed :)

Really cool design by XYZStation on Creality Cloud
A tiny tribute to the world of creativity and innovation! This miniature 3D printer captures the magic of bringing ideas to life layer by layer. With its clean design and playful details, it’s the perfect desk display for makers, creators, and tech lovers alike. Small in size, big on imagination.
I made a simple 3D-printable modular block system that snaps together
I made a simple modular block system for 3D printing.
The idea was to keep it easy to print, use as few supports as possible, and make it expandable enough that you can print as many pieces as you want and build larger structures over time.
The blocks were originally designed at 40 mm, but the included 3MF is scaled to 30 mm. After testing, I honestly prefer the 30 mm version because it feels comfortable to handle, prints faster, and makes it easier to produce a lot of pieces.
The cylindrical inserts snap into the blocks, and the blocks have internal guide rails to help keep the inserts from sliding out. I also made a video showing that they fit firmly, hold together well, and do not separate easily.
It is a simple toy-style project, but I’m pretty happy with how solid and satisfying the connection feels.
Print them in different colors, make a pile of them, and build whatever you want.
Have yall seen how much creality machines ping the mothership?
Hi yall, long time listener, first time caller here. Anyways I have creality machines of sparkx i7 and creality hi. I’ve not had too many issues considering. That said today I set up a pihole, and I’m just looking at the query log here and I have just non stop query’s to Creality cloud. I have to closed on my phone, slicer closed on the computer and I only had the machines idling, and this thing is just going nuts with query’s to Creality cloud. Why are they checking so much?
K1C CFS-C firmware update V1.1.0.27.20260428
Hey CFS-C owners, new firmware is out:
Version V1.1.0.27.20260428:
1.Resolved the issue of regular layer lines occurring when printing after installing the CFS-C.
2.Fixed the logic issue with the CFS-C's initial filament loading process.
3.Resolved the Ethernet issue on the K1 MAX.
4.Fixed the problem where the Z-axis could not lift after printing was completed.
Listed from the crealitycloud firmware page.
Had to manually update it via USB, still it doesn't offer OTA.
I myself noticed quicker start, without ghost feeding. So it actually feeds the right filament on first try.
Secondly, when I want to reach web interface, there's no more error 404, it's actually blank. So we might get there eventually?
Since I got my DXC extruder connected to PCBA slot, I thought that maybe firmware upgrade would overwrite my filament\_sensor\_setting, but it turned out that it kept this setting.
On the downside, camera is still out (maybe is more of connectivity issues with cloud, rather than firmware), bed mesh I can check out on locally configured fluidd (not everything works, but I can see the mesh).
Haven't got the time to check everything yet, but so far, it seems better now, more reliable. We're getting somewhere I guess. So please do report any issues, probably after 2-3 months we'll get another couple of fixes.
What other changes did you noticed? Have you managed it to run properly after this update?
Help making this???
Can someone use their expert skills and make me this file? It will be used as shot glasses at a bar with lights on the bottom of the base of the shot glasses. Of course it has to be leveled when you put the plane on the table so liquid won't spill out. I am new to 3D printer and have only been printing stuff that is available online. I want to learn how to design stuff as well. Printer I have is K2 Plus if that helps.
Much appreciated for the help.
Fully 3D Printed 8-Bit Mushroom: No screws, no glue, just PETG and geometry.
I’ve been working on a series of functional retro designs, and I just finished this one.
Most people use CAD software for these kinds of projects, but I did the entire process in Maya. The biggest challenge was getting the mechanical tolerances just right for a fully 3D-printed system. Both the hinge and the front latch click into place perfectly without needing a single screw, metal pin, or glue.
The box is heavy-duty and wall-mountable. I printed this one in PETG using a CFS for the flush pixel art on the front.
I’ve uploaded the .3mf file with all my print settings pre-configured if you want to check it out:
Print it. Use it. Just make it worth it.
5 color print "hot swap" trick
Designed a Creality pixel plaque with 3 different print methods.
- If you have 2 or more cfs just load your colors and print.
- If you only have one CFS unit, follow this trick to avoid using a “Pause” command:
Setup: Map your Base and Legs/Arms to the same filament slot in your slicer.
First Phase: Load your Base Color (e.g., Blue) into that slot and start the print.
The Swap: After Layer 16 (approximately 2 hours in), once the base is finished, simply perform a “Hot Swap” by pulling the Base Color out of the CFS and loading your Leg/Arm Color (e.g., Gray) into the same slot.
Result: No pause is required, and the printer will continue with the new color for the remaining detail!
- each part can be printed by them self and then glued to the base plate. The baseplate is recessed so you can easliy align the parts. each pixel is single so you it will take you some time to assemble, great rain day project.
PTFE tubing PSA
PSA Make sure you check and change the PTFE tubing regularly. I was printing PETG-CF over the weekend and went to start a regular PLA print and it failed to make it to the extruder. I noticed the filament on the counter right away. Easy fix, just retract the filament and replace the tubing. It’s good practice to keep some on hand! It wore through right where it exits the CFS unit.

Post power cut quality?
Annoyingly 2/3 the way through printing a frisbee for my daughter, the power tipped off for a few seconds. I’ve managed to restart the print but has anyone else had this happen and how did the final print turn out?
