So while writing out my fanmade character profiles for the Cybersquad (and Slider), I got to thinking...what would Matt and Inez be like as BF/GF? Like what tropes would they exhibit, what kind of couple would they be? What would their dates be like, how would they be to each other...that kind of thing...

You know how the old PBS Kids Cyberchase website had those character profiles? Well, I made some of my own for the Cybersquad (and Slider), but updated to 2026...

Matt:

Now almost 14, this green-hooded cyber-sleuth is ready for action whenever Hacker strikes! With his girlfriend Inez, the compulsive organizer drama queen Jackie and skater teen Slider backing him up, Matt's ready for anything! Did we mention that he and Inez are finally together?

Closing in on her own teen years at age 12, she's not the shortest of the Cybersquad anymore! But she's still the smartest, which comes in quite handy when dealing with the devious Hacker! She's a feisty girl that's curious about everything, cares deeply about the environment and thinks through problems standing on her head.
