Can I apply for Spring 2027 ADN while taking Dosage Calculations?

Hi! Does anyone know if I can apply for the Spring 2027 ADN program while I’m still taking Dosage Calculations in Fall 2026, or does the course have to be completed by the application deadline?

I’ll have all of my other prerequisites completed, and Dosage Calculations will be the only one I still need. Thanks!

Microbiology Advice

In the fall I plan to take AP2 and microbiology. Currently I have them both as brick and mortar classes alternating M-TH for about a 3 hour block, however I’m wondering if I could switch micro to online and save me two days of being on campus

Has anyone taken microbiology online and would you recommend it? Or is it better to take this in the classroom?

Current & Former Dallas College ADN Students: How Many Admission Points Did You Have?

Hi everyone!

I’m preparing to apply for the Spring 2027 ADN cohort during the August application cycle, and I’m trying to get an idea of what admitted applicants’ point totals have looked like.

If you were accepted, would you mind sharing:

• Your total admission points (Poll Below)

• Whether you were accepted on your first application

• Which campus you listed as your first choice (and whether you got it)

• Whether you were accepted into the traditional day program or the weekend/evening cohort

• If you’re comfortable sharing, what semester/year you were admitted

If you vote in the poll, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave a comment with your admission semester, campus, and whether you were accepted into the traditional or weekend/evening program.

I’m just trying to get a realistic idea of how competitive the admissions process has been in recent cycles, and I also hope this post can serve as a resource for future applicants who have similar questions. Thanks in advance!

Dosage Calculations Conversion???

Are you supposed to have some conversions memorized??? I’m doing the practice exams and a lot of the questions have conversions that need to be done that aren’t even on the conversion list they provide you…
