Obsessions Edited by Gary Raisor 1991

Lots of stories and lots of signatures. I really really like Dark Harvest Books Anthologies and this one is fancy. When i received it it was still shrink wrapped, I knew it was signed but didnt know it was a pc copy. Not the biggest fan of PC or Un-numbered copies but im not against them. My goal is to have the book even if its a trade copy.

Night Visions 5 Edited by Douglas E. Winter 1988

Night Visions 5! The Night Visions series was Dark Harvest Book's bread and butter for the entirety of their ten year run. They were able to pump out 9 volumes before closing up shop. The series did live on for a few more volumes from Subterranean Press.

Night Visions 9 (1991)

Alright people...at this point in my Dark Harvest Books Collection journey im at 22 individual titles. That being said, I've been searching used book stores, thrift stores, garage sales, Fb market place, Fb groups, Ebay and all other online book sellers. I do find some very very nice books but the price isnt usually nice...so I took a gamble. The pride and joy of Dark Harvest is their Night Visions series and I only had 3. I seen this listing and figured I could risk the 20. No pictures, stated used, cheap, I figured id be lucky to get a trade edition that has a dust jacket. I feel like I won a scratch off. Side note, Im starting to see the decline in "Fancyness" from dark harvest in the 90s. No interior illustrations and just front cover art. Awesome collection none the less.

The House Of Thunder by Dean Koontz 1988 (org 1982)

Another pseudonym story by dean koontz done up by Dark Harvest. Here we have ex library trade edition, the cover is more intense than the story unfortunately. Still a good older Koontz.

Shadowfires by Dean Koontz 1990 (org 1987)

Originally published in 1987 by Avon and written under one of Deans many pen names. Dark Harvest got ahold of it and gave it a nice treatment..and cover. Illustrated menacingly by Phil Parks and dedicated to Richard Laymon and his family. This is a more intense koontz than most people are used to and it works out very well as a Dark Harvest edition.

Crucifax Autumn by Ray Garton 1988

Excessive glare on the cover due to the mylar jacket cover. Had to use my finger to block the nipples so it doesnt get tagged as NSFW. Now that being said this novel is NSFW, This is Garton...Sexually Explicit, Violent, well written and beautifully Illustrated by Bob Eggleton. Another super cool Trade Edition copy from Dark Harvest Books.

They Thirst by Robert Mccammon 1991 (org 1981)

Dark Harvest Books Trade Edition of Robert Mccammon's They thirst. My second favorite mccammon novel but its a fantastic vampire story. Great use of space for the spine for the dust jacket too.

Black Wine edited by Douglas E. Winter

I found this bad boy on ebay...I was looking for the limited-edition but this one popped up. Extremely well priced since it was ex-libris....but it was Stanley Wiater's copy! He edited Night Visions 7 for dark harvest. Happy to add this to MY library. Published in 1986.

Dreaming Of A Dark Harvest?

Hello everyone, I Hope this post finds you well.

Out of the 50 or so Titles Dark Harvest was able to publish between 1983 and 1993, Do you have a favorite?

Even more fun of a Thought/Question...what are some Titles you wish could have had the Dark Harvest treatment?

There are no wrong answers 😀

I sat infront of my shelf today trying to decide which title I want to showcase next and started daydreaming. After staring into the void, my mind decided to ponder what book and artist I wish Dark Harvest could have done.

And then all day that's all I could think about. One great idea after another I lost count and started forgetting some. So now here I am at the void again and now I ask you guys the same question. "A FEW" from my wishlist in the comments below.
