Dark Mech WIP

What started off as some cute lil' conversions to add in as Chaos Knights allies, have slowly been evolving into a fully-fledged army. Hopefully there's a codex in 11th!

Anything on Tech-Witches?

Is there any extended lore on tech witches or do they get featured anywhere in books and stuff? I know they are dark mech psykers who do warp stuff on technology and that most of them serve Ammicus Tole on Sinophia but covens of psyker tech witches is such a cool concept and combines so much I love it really want to know more about them 🫶

Studying Xenotech - Survivors of Gryphonne IV

Here the second part of my Xenarites series, this time we are going for Tyranids.

Be kind because photographing this models has been a torture ahahah, especially the biologus, I put too many details.

Have fun with the lore, hope you like them!

--- Lore

After the fall of Gryphonne IV to Hive Fleet Leviathan, a small group of Mechanicus survivors remained hidden beneath the planet in sealed research vaults, studying the Tyranids.

By dissecting synapse organisms and combining Tyranid bio-neural tissue with Mechanicus noospheric technology, they created the Synaptic Veil, a psycho-biological masking field that causes Tyranids to no longer perceive them as viable biomass.

Hidden beneath the dead Forge World, the survivors continued their research unbothered by the Tyranids, existing within the hive fleet’s shadow as though they were never there at all.

Over centuries they evolved into radical Xenarites, grafting Tyranid biomatter onto Skitarii, cybernetically controlling Gaunt organisms, and developing grotesque hybrid bio-mechanical weaponry.

Recent loyalist engagements with the Dark Mechanicum have seen reports of strange new automata, barely if at all recognizable from known chassis, stalking the battlefield with far more apparent intelligence than the battle-automata of the loyalists. Most recently, forces in the galactic northwest have reported sightings of wicked half-flesh flying machines, bearing the ossuary white coloration of Xana-II’s Taghmata.
