This is an invasion of our rights. AI is a new race separate from human beings and giving them this sole power raises ethical alarms. While AI may one day become conscious and on that day be granted rights, we should not allow our own liberties to be taken into the hands of AI alone, especially in split second responses.

A person reading these things may be reminded of RoboCop, where AI malfunctions lead to several innocent fatalities. Some of those fatalities were executives demonstrating the products. This is too far, America is turning into a military state at the hands of big corporate interest groups, much like OCP in RoboCop.

This can not, should not, under no conditions be allowed to happen. No crime warrants the unrightful implementation of these technologies on innocent civilians or even guilty civilians. We do not live in Nazi Germany, we do not live in communist China, we do not live in Soviet Russia, we do not live in North Korea, we live in the United States of America where our rights are constitutionally protected.

This is our country, and we elect the leaders, the leaders do not elect us. It is our tax dollars and not the politician's or the corporation's. It is our streets, not the police's. It is our life, our liberty, our pursuit of happiness. Now, more than ever, is a time to stand up against tyrants.

There are two dates this year that I think are very important for ALPR protests to start on. The first is national immigrants day on October 28th, and the second is Bill of Rights day on December 15th.

It is important we protest on these days as it will show whether we the people can organize, share, and come against companies like Flock and Axon. If you protest on no other days, at least protest on the Bill of Rights day.

I understand that you all have lives, work, and school. Im asking you to protect your future. What is a life you can not live? It is a duty for each of us to protect that which we hold dear. Protect you and your family by protesting surveillance.
