It was everything I hoped
Rather, two double Dels because of the bogo deal. I get it now. 😭 I’ve been going to Del for 30 years and never thought to try one. Well, I’m a believer now. Truly excellent. There’s no going back now.
So I got the flamin hot queso beef roller, flamin hot queso crispy chicken burrito and a grilled chicken soft taco.
Beef roller was a 10/10 would definitely order it again. It tasted exactly like a chilli cheese burrito.
Crispy chicken burrito was not great, although I’ve never liked the crispy chicken. I took the crispy chicken out of the burrito and added the inners of my grilled chicken taco. It turned into another 10/10. The flamin queso sauce is really good. Hope they roll this out to other del tacos
I used to love the quesadillas (and my favorite part is the green sauce), but I never get them anymore because I think they’re just too expensive for what they are. Also, they forget the green sauce like 90% of the time, even when I specifically ask for it, and often the cheese isn’t fully melted, so I’m just over the inconsistency in quality on that one item.
Was very excited to see a free quesadilla in this week’s digital deals and went to my favorite local Del to relive the sweet nostalgia of the cheddar quesadilla. I was literally the only person in the store and the two employees weren’t busy and were standing around chatting. I put my order in the kiosk and they begin making it (the only order they had at that moment), so I think I’m not being too much of a PITA when I say “hey can you please make sure there’s green sauce in that quesadilla?” The lady said “sure…actually do you want extra?” Why yes I do, thank you! What a sweet treat! She relayed that info to the guy making my ‘dilla. “Finally,” I thought. “I’m going to get the green sauce justice I’ve been waiting for!” There can be no mistaking my desire for green sauce this time. I didn’t even feel the need to check it before I left the store because I thought that would be unnecessary and insulting considering both employees knew, in no uncertain terms, that I wanted green sauce. In fact, I was to be getting EXTRA green sauce. Hooray!
Reader, I’m sure by now you can see where I’m going with this. I got home and dug into my Del - NO F**KING GREEN SAUCE IN MY DANG QUESADILLA. NOT A DROP. Also it was cold and half melted and most of the cheese was still in shred form. No satisfying cheese pull here. I’m not even mad, I just have to laugh. I love this Del and the workers and I know they are smart and competent people, and they never fuck up any of my other orders. At this point I have to assume it’s some cosmic rule that I am simply not allowed to have a satisfying quesadilla experience at Del.
Does this happen to anybody else? Or is this some personal karmic punishment for something I did wrong in a past life?
Burrito was pretty good, added some onion and cilantro for texture. I think next time i will try the carnitas fries instead. Side note had a fish taco for the first time at DT and it will now be a staple in my order.
I didn't love it. It was supposed to to come with green sauce. Also the pork chunks were huge and not super tender.
My Del Yeah friends..I need help. I just ordered a delivery order to make inferno today and I needed up 6 points short, 994/1000. I need my first ever inferno rank, and if I don't get my 6 points by tomorrow it will not happen. I come here asking for help. I need someone to DM me a receipt. It could literally be 1 snack taco and I'll make my inferno rank. 6 points!! I beg assistance of a fellow del tacoer, I need 1 small receipt to achieve my everlasting goal of becoming an inferno.

Are the crispy chicken tacos still on the menu? I went through the drive through at a del taco and they weren’t on the menu. They’re my go-to order and if they’re gone I will be devastated.
