Hi, deped teacher here for 6 yrs already, I thought this time kabisado ko na ang kalakaran sa deped pero parang habang tumatagal lalong mas madami akong tanong.
Prinsipyo ko talaga na never gagamit ng personal money for classroom repairs. Hindi naman problem sa akin yan first few years of my service kasi adviser lang ako at may HRPTA projects naman sa section ko, pero since naging implementing teacher ako with two coordinatorships doom nagsimula lahat ng self doubts ko.
I have my own room to maintain na. Paglipat ko sira na ang floormat at ceiling fan, walls need some repainting also. Doon nagsimula anxiety ko kasi syempre gusto mo ng presentable na office/room, pero paano? Mahal ang ceiling fan, mahal ang repaint, mahal ang floormat.
Pag nag sulat ka naman ng budget proposal hindi pa sure if ma prioritze ang request mo; if ever ma approve man hindi din pwede cash advance sa MOOE, so ang ending ikaw muna gagastos tapos reimbursement nalang after which needs a lot of paperworks pa.

Yes, I know may cash allowance pero para sa akin for school supplies related to teaching lang yan, such as laptop, ink, bondpapers, maintenance sa printer. Kulang pa nga eh.
This makes me question my self, may prinsipyo ba talaga ako na never gagamit ng personal money or sadyang selfish lang sako.
Masiyadong maluwag ang curriculum. Yung 2 subjects ng Bio, Chem, Physics, Earth Science ginawang apat. I think dapat 3 lang ang hati since three term na.
Also dapat may choice to either take General Math or Advanced Math sa Grade11. Also if kukuha ng higher science, pwedeng isubstitute sa GenSci. Hindi maging prepared ang STEM students sa college if watered down ang curriculum.
Di ko rin alam bakit 2 hr per week lang ang English/Filipino. Dapat 4hrs each na lang.

Ano po yung kailangan kong i-review para sa 1st trimester at yung iba po? Gusto ko po kasi makapag review para di mahirapan

Not grad school-related, pero meron ba dito na employed sa State Universities and Colleges as faculty pero di pa complete yung master's degree?
I know na depende to sa city pero ano yung usual load and salary?
Planning kasi ako to apply, kasi aligned sa master's ko yung available position.
Teaching na den ako, but in a private college, tas part-timer den as an industry expert. Bale yung position ko is as a consultant/special lecturer.

Hindi na chairman ng committee on basic education si Sen. Bam Aquino. It will be turned over daw kay Robin Padilla? Anyare Pinas? Really? Talaga po ba??? Sen. Bam is the most qualified to head the education committee as per his track record. What a circus is happening.
Worth it ba ang kumon sa 4yrs old
For context, I had been teaching a certain major for the past few years. At the end of school year, nahati school and I was recommended by the principal as one of the teachers to move (despite being the older teacher, a new teacher came in and was retained. Later on, I was able to negate the endorsement through the SDS and stay to the current school since I reasoned that the new school is unrelated with my major/strand offerings however there is no guarantee by SDO that I can teach my major hence this situation).
Upon my return, I was endorsed different subjects/major outside my department and was asked to "put up with it".
Now my question since I'm a fairly new teacher... Will there be implications regarding my possible promotion someday since that is what I'm most worried about?
Added context: muntikan na ako ibagsak ng HT ko sa IPCRF, buti na lang I caught wind at either VS/O na rating ko now. Hindi daw nila gusto na nag-reach out ako sa SDS for help against my principal. Multiple schemes nila so I won't teach my major anymore kahit last year pa.
Should I resort to 8888? What is your best advice? And no di ako pwede mag-resign since this is my bread and butter.

Since mapapalitan na si Sen. Bam Aquino as Chairman for Education it means lalabo na din maipasa ang hinain niya na bill na Angat Suweldo para sa Guro Act last July 2025. Kung sakaling maipasa yun ay dagdag 10k sa suweldo sa ating mga guro.
Ako lang ba yung naka experience na may galit yung principal, though nagtuturo naman ako and gumagawa ng mga reports, unlike dun sa favorite nya hindina nga nag tuturo, hindi na observe for CO hindi nag submit ng PMES pero “Outstanding”ang gustong ibigay. Tapos ako na ginawa lahat Very Satisfactory lang. Anong pwedeng gawin kapag ganito?
Hi teachers, I need an advice about the my situation.
I applied to this Private School on February then reached out to them about the update on April.
They called me the day I emailed about the application Update and told me that the students will come over this June.
Now, I am anxious if they will hire me. I am a person that overthinks a lot (huhu). What advice should you give to a fresh grad like me?
