Hello,

I am in France.

I bought a used Dreame V20 vacuum cleaner. It was advertised as new.

And indeed, it looked new, in its original box.

I tested the first brush, no problem.

Then, when I changed the brush, nothing.

It wouldn't charge anymore. No display. Nothing.

I tried contacting customer service. But I don't have a receipt.

The seller is ignoring me.

After searching for a solution online for a long time,

I managed to find a way to get it working again.

Disconnect the battery. Wait 24 hours. Reconnect it, and lo and behold, it works again.

The problem is that the issue has recurred at more or less regular intervals.

But now, nothing works.

I suspect a wire is loose and the device is going into safety mode.

I've seen that other models have a problem with the rotating brush.

I thought about taking it apart to see what's going on.

But I don't think the last time I did it, I didn't connect any brush. It worked and then stopped.

I'd like to try taking it apart. But I don't know if I should take it apart at the head (the motor) or the brush.

I know it might be a hassle.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I really like the different mop pads for different tasks, and no cross contamination of the Matrix 10 but I also like the more powerfull suction and new features of Dreame x60 Ultra. But I still feel they are kindda simmilar. What would you choose and why?

I have a Dreame L40 Pro Ultra and noticed that the room the robot rests with the dock started to smell. Upon further investigation it appears the mop pads were still wet and smelly but the last time I mopped was a week ago. I cleaned the area on the dock and changed mop pads and will wash the smelly ones, but any idea what happened here?

The other issue is that as I was changing the mop pads the outer Velcro circle on one of the plastic disc that hold the pads on came off and stayed stuck on the mop pad. I managed to tear it from the mop pad and place back in the disc, but it’s obviously going to happen again when I tear off another pad. Any advice for submitting a warranty request? I am in Aus and emailed Dreame and they said to submit a request via Solvup. When I search I can’t find anywhere to submit as a consumer. I’ve heard about Dreame customer service and looks like I’m going to get the run around.

Also, I’ve had the vacuum a few months now and run the mop 1-2 times a week (missing a week here and there) and the detergent tank is still half full. Is this normal? Perhaps it’s not being used?

Edit: The drying setting is enabled in the app.

Hi Dear i recently bought Dreame D20 and i faced same problem as you, i have also etisalat 1 GB connection with new router i tried every thing but its not worked. Even i tried another router but my luck the old router i have also from etisalat. Then i left it like that for a week.

Now here is good news for every buddy who is facing the same issue. on saturday i start troubleshoot again and i found the issue is WPA2 dreame will work only with WPA not WPA2 and WPA is not available in etisalat routers, So solution is very simple i enable Guest SSID without Security and wala its working so i connect wife mobile with guest network and configure.

Now i m living in 10th floor every buddy have their internet so no security is not an issue but if you want guest network should be secure only thing you can do turn off broadcast SSID, you know th network ssid you can connect.

Please confirm the above solution will work or not for you .
