What’s going on with Dreame customer service? I feel being scammed

I shipped back my old Dream unit (I believe it’s L20untra sth), over two month ago for replacement due to quality issues, and it’s been two months, all dreame customer service does is telling me “oh we are going to ship the replacement unit, just you wait”, and then “oh we r out of stock, we gonna upgrade you a newer version”, and then no letter, and after I ask for update, they come back again saying “oh we run out of inventory for the replacement unit too and will replace with another one, just you wait”… and then “we shipped it, jus twist for confirmation”, and then I reached out again, and then the stories repeats…I mean it’s fine to use out of stock for once or twice…but it gets sketchy when they did it for over five times within three weeks …I am getting concerned, I paid almost 1400$ for my unit when its first released, and now I don’t have anything in my hand cause I shipped my old unit to Dreame for inspection. I DID ask them MULTIPLE TIMES whether it was possible to send me replacement unit before I ship out my old unit because I do not like to be left without a unit in the mean time, but their answer was a firm “NO”, now thinking back about it…am I scammed? Is DREAME in big trouble and they cannot fulfill their duty any more? I need some help from you, what should I do next? I attached some screen shots but they are by no means complete as there are too numerous communications and I do not want to process each one of them to remove my personal information…but you should be able to get the idea from the few I sent

Best upgrade from a disappointing Roborock S6?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice to replace my aging Roborock S6. I bought it back in 2020, and to be honest, it’s been a pretty big disappointment. I’m hoping that 6 years later, the tech has finally evolved enough to handle my specific setup.

The Context:

  • Space: 80 sqm apartment.
  • Flooring: Parquet everywhere except for the bathroom, which has white tiles. As you can imagine, every single cat hair or speck of dust is visible there.
  • The Cat Factor: I have a cat that sheds quite a bit. We often leave the bay windows open for him to go on the terrace, which brings in a lot of extra dust and debris. We also have kitty litter to deal with daily.
  • The Obstacles: My door thresholds/plinths are poorly made and quite high.

Why the S6 failed us:

  1. Navigation issues: It constantly gets stuck under the sofa or tangled in power strips. It seems to have zero "self-awareness."
  2. Thresholds: It struggles to climb the slightly raised plinths. It often gets wedged on them.
  3. Fragility: The transparent water tank actually cracked because it kept hitting the door thresholds while trying to climb them. We eventually just removed it.
  4. Suction: Even running every day, the cleaning quality feels subpar, especially for cat hair on the white tiles.

What I’m looking for: A robot that can truly be autonomous for daily maintenance, so I only have to do a manual deep clean once a week. I need something with top-tier obstacle avoidance (no more getting stuck in cables) and a serious climbing ability for those thresholds.

I’ve seen the new Roborock Saros 20 mentioned recently—it seems to have a slim design and "AdaptiLift" for high thresholds. Is this the right move for my situation, or should I look at something like the Dreame X60 Max or Eufy S1 Pro?

Budget isn't the primary concern if it actually works, but I’m happy to wait for a good deal.

Thanks for your help!
