I know the creature side is very useful, but the spell side just seems laughably bad. Like "Why does this even have a spell side?" levels of bad.

You pay 3 mana... to give your opponent a free card. Like why? I can only assume it was a silver bullet for some hyper-specific scenario in one episode of the Joe anime and literally never came up again.

Shield trigger decks defeat me. My best chance is a turn 3 dogiragolden but even then they can turn it around.

What else can you do in such matchups?

I'm stuck on plat 3.
