Does most of the students ranked till 200 going for counselling at eflu?? Mine rank is 172 and am not still sure about going for counselling….what are my chances?? Will i get any language???

Our hostels don't even have basic facilities, and no space. I had to move out, In a flat nearby.

Ok I'm in some terrible hotwater situation rn. Thing is, I kinda liked and had hopes for EFLU after the CUET, and score was promising too. In a Uni, I mainly look for peaceful campus setting, friendly, vibey and ambitious peer/crowd, helpful seniors, might life, good hostel and mess. EFLU seemed like a perfect choice as I'm passionate abt english too, but now that the merit list came and the ruckus around physical councelling, I'm rather skeptical. I'm around 50 rank in UR for english and 30 for FL. Due to uncertainty in english, I even considered opting Japanese as 2nd option, but I'm clueless about it, and its possibilities. Also, I got admission at AU, and might get in BHU. Idk where to look, english, jap, or English lit nd Eco at AU....

So basically, we have these political parties in the university, and there are some great manipulators in all those parties.

In short, there are 2 of them. Right and left.

At first, you will be oblivious to what's happening. You will make friends with them, and what happens is that slowly, they start getting people involved in politics.

Recently, it took a really bad turn in the university, so for your safety and good mood, stay out of these things.

Campus politics will barely help you in life.

They even make stuff like freshers party a political matter and fight on that...smh.

What I'm saying is: Make friends, talk to them and all, just be careful that they don't turn you into a cheap, so-called campus politician.

Of course...if you're interested in campus politics then that's cool and all.

Don't get dragged without noticing.

Doing something willingly and getting involved by going with the flow are different things.

travelling 1600 km for a counselling and not even a fixed seat is first of all crazy, i barely got tickets and it's still in the waiting but after all that i really hope i atleast get my preference....i have 275.98 as score and i am EWS category....my all over rank is 194 but my category rank is 18th

idk how much of a chance i got but i'd like to secure french or german...

I'm in general category and in merit list serial wise at 150 in foreign languages. What are my chances to get a seat in eflu? Should I attend counseling or it's not worth it?

The EFLU admission guidelines mention that: Annexure I — Student Anti-Ragging Affidavit, Annexure II — Parent/Guardian Anti-Ragging Affidavit are to be notarized.

However, the official UGC Anti-Ragging website now allows students and parents to submit the anti-ragging undertaking online and provides a reference/registration number.

Can I submit the anti-ragging undertaking generated through the official Anti-Ragging Portal instead of getting Annexure I and II notarized, or does EFLU specifically require the notarized Annexures?

seniors are saying that for JMC, we must visit Shillong campus as other campuses don't offer that course..
But admission notification says that we must visit the campus which is in our first preference.. i have given my first preference as BA english in hyd campus.. But will i still have a chance for JMC shillong if i go to the hyderabad campus!?
THIS IS SO CONFUSING!!

I live 1600 kms away from Hyderabad, travelling so far is already a hassle for me. Should I attend the counselling? My rank is between 320-330, UR Category. If not BA English in Hyd, will I get into the other campuses?

Please someone tell me should i go for physical counselling on 25th ?? For FL ?? My preference are Japanese and spanish. Will i get admission in any of the languages? I have applied to all languages? Do i have a chance ?

So those people who are thinking that there'll be less people in actual physical counselling and we might have a chance because of that are wrong, cause because of this single rumour circulation those who were not going in the first place will go, and this time around many people will show up so be prepared

Hi Guys does Anyone About Some protest in eflu which got violent? Is it real? i heard There was a Protest being Conducted for Hostel services where Some Students From NSUI (A political Party) injured a Student gravely...Is it safe to come for Physical Counselling on 25th? This isnt something big right...? As Independence day is Tommorow too...

In my pov i always thought The only thing which sets apart eflu from jnu is its politics but here Students are being injured and sent to hospital Because of Political Interests? This is too much just before ug admissions as its hella scary

Can Somebody Confirm this?is it safe or not to come?
