I passed the first interview for a Patent Examiner position and have been invited to the second interview.
Has anyone gone through this stage recently? What types of questions were asked? How much focus was there on technical discussions, patent-related topics, and language skills (German/French)?

I passed the technical interview but something the interviewer told me was a bit odd. He told me that I will be put in the talent pool after a successfull second interview and didn't mention a direct hire outcome at all. Are they again just cramming people in their talent pool without any real prospects of hiring ?
I have been in the talent pool for the Wireless Patent Examiner role since March 2025. Is there anyone else who is still waiting for an offer in the telecom field? How likely is it that I will get an offer? I am starting to lose hope because I feel my time in the talent pool might expire.
