Trying to purchase Eleanor Forte
Hello! I want to start by saying I did already send an email to eshop@animen.com.tw, and I received a reply with a link to newebpay from aries@14star.com. Unfortunately I was running into issues with payment not going through (authorization error) even after receiving an automated message from the bank and specifying to them that the purchase was legitimate.
I emailed Aries back saying I was having issues with payment, and they asked if I used paypal.
The exact response was: "Hello, we can also provide PayPal account for recieving payments. Do you use paypal?" (From aries@14star.com)
So, I have a few questions...
Is this legit? I'm hoping I didn't just give a scammer my credit card info and address.
Is the paypal a scam? Paypal always sets off my mental scam alarms so I'm a bit worried that using it will get me scammed hard.
Has anybody else had an experience like this when purchasing Eleanor Forte? If anybody has, please let me know how it went and how I should handle this.
What could've caused the credit card issues? The authorization issues still kept happening even after confirming to the bank the purchases were legit, so I have no idea what's happening.
I will try to provide more details if necessary, ofc nothing personal like my credit card or anything😭
