I'm done! Number 288 platinum in the bank!
What a game! Beautiful graphics, awesome boss fights and a interesting storyline!
But to everyone going for 100% this game; Do frequent backups of the savefile!

Okay call me crazy i farming the Gladioter with the 5 crabs and i can not get it to drop and i have nearly 500 luck. This is redicoulse.
I am doing wrong or does this one not drop it?
If you can't tell, I love this game! Onto NG+11 I go.
I'm a big fan of Soulsborne and Soulslike games, but generally not of indie games (with rare exceptions). Enotria was one of those pleasant exceptions. I had a great time with it.
The atmosphere is one of the things that really kept me playing. It has its own identity instead of trying to be a copy of Dark Souls. I found the voice acting, sound design, and soundtrack really good. Too good for a game like this. The combat was enjoyable too.
Unfortunately, the game does feel a little unfinished at times (I know there's a new update, but I haven't tried it yet). It had some technical issues and rough edges.
As for the Achievements, they were a bit of a tedious process, but I liked the game enough to go for all of them. Some are very grindy, while others are surprisingly vague. I had to dig pretty deep to find information on a few of them since there weren't even proper guides available at the time.
I ended up enjoying the game more than I'd expected, enough to buy the physical copy of PS5 Deluxe Edition afterwards.
For me, it's the best non-FromSoft Soulslike after Lies of P, an underrated game. I'd love to see the developers make a sequel.
Im struggling to remember which infusion corresponds to which slot so i wanted to line it up with the wheel you have under your hp/stamina.
Like have gratia path activate from slot 3 instead of 1, fatuo from slot 4 instead of 3, vis from slot 1 instead of 2 and malanno from 2 instead of 4.
I have just been using the Mask of Change and the Knight’s Monolith since I got it, and dumping stats equally. I don’t really understand how to tell what does what. I think I’ve used my mask lines like 10 times total.
Veltha is caving my head in, and I don’t understand what needs to be done. I can’t get away from her. It’s like Warerfowl dance in a mop closet. I wanna love this game, cause it is beautiful and I love the concept but this is the jannnnnkkkiest combat I’ve experienced besides Lies of P (which I already know glazers will get on me hard, but the tracking in that game was horrible to say the least)
What should I be using? I use Bloodlust as my 2nd weapon.
I have a ton of weapon lines, but no clue what they all do.
Just finished, and Italian Souls vibes are *chefs kiss*. Pretty much everything else though, from level design to combat, I thought was pretty mid tbh. Quinta was easily the best area (the part where the house filled with wine and crawling enemies was dope), and it got worse from there. I wish they leaned into more of what made it unique, like the ardore changing the levels mechanic. Fun to play just for the seriously A+ level art design tho.
What do y'all think?
SICK OF THIS | Enotria: The Last Song
Thank you all for your support on my last post here, brilliant to see there is a great community of people out there who love this game!
It’s a ton of fun - Had a bit of trouble with Giangurgolo this episode, and decided to pass for now (so any tips are appreciated!), but will definitely be coming back to him at some point.
Definitely enjoying the exploration and world of this game, don’t get me me wrong, the bosses are a ton of fun, but actually just exploring, goofing around, and taking in the world is so much fun to me! After playing Elden Ring over and over again over the past couple of years, this new world feels like a very welcomed break.
TL/DR: Still loving this game, thank you for the support, any advice on Giangurgolo would be massively appreciated!
I just started playing but I have already a couple of duplicate weapons, what am I supposed to do with them?
Can they be used as upgrade materials? Can they be sold or dismantled?
Well, this is awesome..
The game crashed at 'Church of Maja' while going for the last couple of Mask Lines i was missing but the game crashed..
Out on the PS5 menu the console directly gave me 'couldn't synchronice' error. I should've chose the save file in PS Cloud and not the save file on the system..
Because i chose the savefile on the system (Because the savefile in PS Cloud was from more than 10+ hours of progress earlier), i'm now completely fucked.
Everytime i load the game, the 'Continue' option is visible but everytime i try to load the savefile through that (or load save) it goes to an indefinitely loading screen with frozen loading bars showing up a few seconds in.
I've tried the following:
-1 Level profile trick: The savefile still shows my level 104 character with ~40+ hours of play time at 'Church of Maja. But i still tried starting a new save file and quit after auto-save icon showed and disappeared = didn't work/do anything besides still an indefinite loading.
Brute force-close game 10 times in a row after waiting ~45+ seconds.
Reinstalling the game = didn't fix.
Clearing system cache = didn't fix.
Rebuilding database = didn't fix.
Anything else i can try or am i completely screwed over and need to start over from scratch?
Not hopeful there'll be a solution, but asking just in case. I was in the midst of stepping through the portal to the final area when the game crashed. When I re-loaded, I was back in the Theatre. I can run around and talk to NPCs, and even see the final area in the knot's fast travel menu, but there's no prompt to travel there. Am I fucked, or is there a way to fix this? (I'm on PS5, so re-loading past saves doesn't seem to be an option.)
I'm so angry - I just spent a couple of hours wrapping up the side quests and had actually unlocked the true ending (this is my 1st playthrough). The game has issues, but I persisted because I did really enjoy it for the most part and thought there was a vision here worth. Fuck it, I guess.
So I finally landed the platinum on Enotria, and my feelings are rather torn on it and the game. Hope the subreddit can handle some constructive criticism.
First, I must preface this by pointing at another soulslike I hit platinum on very recently, namely Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. I loved that game so much that even after NG+ I was left wanting to do another run with a different build approach.
Unfortunately I can't say the same about Enotria. Now admittedly the pace is a bit slow for my liking and though Sabers exist, they simply don't deal the sort of damage that is comparable to something like Colossal Greatswords, in terms of DPS. Lower damage per hit of course but the speed doesn't compensate for the utter lack of damage, especially in boss fights. Of course different weapons have different movesets and it helps diversify builds a bit but I felt like the game either asks you to spec towards the Elementalist approach or the Ardore Battlemage approach and they both just feel too similar to me. I wasn't able to experience any significant variety no matter how many different combinations of Maks Lines, weapons and perks I used.
Now the first time around I got to the second area without too many issues, but knowing I wanted to hit 100% completion, I knew I couldn't afford to skip fights, even optional ones. Enter Veltha. That was a true quit moment for me. I tried for 2 hours the evening I got to her until I decided to give it a rest and try again later. Now I know it's probably some sort of a skill issue from an old man at play, but the next evening I pummeled her face in (or had mine pummeled) for 8 hours straight before I beat her. In fairness my NG+ and NG++ runs took 3 and 2 tries respectively so I did learn a lot. It just felt like placing her where she was placed in terms of expected progress was just unfair.
Sure enough I got through the rest of the game pretty easy, and although I stumbled into the point of no return accidentally (thanks for not having a heads up...) and was unable to complete the quests for God of Man before the final boss, I figured it's fine and I'll just do it next playthrough, since multiple are allowed and required. Fun fact btw, you can finish the quests AFTER the main boss(es) are dead.
I figured maybe the plat isn't going to be so bad after all. Some Mask farming so I could do the "I Learned That Part" trophy next run, and off I went. Easy run. Time to finish it all off with a compendium run up to Master Gondolier. And this is when I really understood why the game has such a low platinum %. What the actual hell.
Why would the devs think it's reasonable to ask you to kill 50/80 of any particular enemy in the game, especially those very much off to the side (talking especially about the Malanno Crab in Litumnia), that you would most likely not slay more than 10 of over the course of 3 whole playthroughs of their areas. Who thought this was balanced, or fun. Running from the "bonfire" knot to the enemy, dodging the enemies in your way, kill the enemy, and teleport back. And do that again and again and again for most of the enemies that wouldn't naturally get fully completed organically.
Enotria was my 90th platinum trophy on Playstation. And I can't remember doing another trophy for a platinum that was as monotonously mind-numbing as this was.
If it wasn't for the Compendium bit, I'd give this plat a chill 6.5/10. Not the best, not the worst.
But I gotta be a bit harsh here. My end score for going for Platinum in Enotria is probably 3.5/10. If I'm being generous. I don't feel accomplished, just exhausted. It wasn't fun, or challenging (except for the 1st Veltha because fek dat bish), but just a test of how much you hate yourself for a digital accolade. And apparently I hate myself enough lol...
Overall, the game was alright tho. Not the best, a lot of jank, slow movement and combat, but at least it was short, pretty and once you understood the systems and had the pieces to make builds, it was actually very easy. But I'm happy it's over now.
To anyone who read this far, and also completed the game 100%, good on you people. That was... something..
I am about to fight this boss. Does anyone know which elemental damage type he is weak to? There don't seem to be any boss fight guides online for this boss except for YouTube videos. Did you know that Lies of P also has a boss named Arlecchino? It comes up in search results.
I am working on getting all the achievements so for the really tough bosses I am taking notes on what worked. I will probably have to fight this boss one more time. This is my second playthrough (in NG++) and the last time I fought this boss I only won by becoming massively over-leveled.
My over-powered go-to weapons are Waning Petal, Scepter of the Void, and the Colossal Greaser.
Im in the 3rd area of the game in the guild section i think and i just feel frustrated and having no fun anymore. It just feels annoying, the enemy placement etc. I am not enjoying myself.
Playing NGplus of Khazan (expert) as well and it is way more polished and fun and enjoyable in spite of being hard.
just lost my NG plus 28 hours in due to a crash . this game blows
Kind of a dumb question considering I’m asking a sub Reddit full of people who enjoy the game but I’ve always been a huge Souls and Soulslike fan and have been interested in Enotria for a while but it feels a little pricey being $35 which in hindsight isn’t that bad but I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale for a while now and it never has (I play on XBOX if that makes a difference). I originally learned about it through lilaggys video a while back, but I don’t remember much about it only that he looked really cool, but also a bit rough around the edges and a bit complicated, though I could be wrong. Anyway, should I give in and just buy it?
