So here it is, our first official ever Eurovision Asia representative, as Nyendra goes down in history of this contest. As the winner of Rythm for Bhutan 2026, Nyendra is first of minimum 10 acts to book his ticket for Bangkok in Thailand on November 14th.

Nyendra's a 23 year old artist fom Bhutan with love for music, using his songs as a way to share parts of himself, like emotions and toughts. He has a youtube channel made in 2022, with over 1 thousand subscribers and 124 thousand views, where he has been posting his music for last 4 years. His most recent song, Zamling, seems to have especially brought in alot of attention with over 100 thousand views and 1 thousand likes.

An young and upcoming artist, today he positioned himself as first ever winner of Rythm of Bhutan and first ever contender of Eurovision Asia.

Out of the 5 acts Bhutan had, what is your toughts on Nyendra? Are you happy with his victory, do you think Bhutan should have chose someone else?

So, even if it's not yet time for the start of the regular Eurovision NF season, another contest is coming up this year - with its own NF season and as of now 10 Asian countries competing.

The reactions of the bubble on Discord and Reddit seem to be really positive, everyone is kind of excited Eurovision Asia happens for real after all the yearly waiting and the uncertainty we had before.

With a line up of five songs, you could say that Bhutan Kind of goes the "UMK-route" and focuses merely on quality over quantity. And this strategy seems to have paid off: With Karma Drupchu and his song "Pha Yuel' many fans have already found a big personal favourite and the other entries seem to enjoy quite some popularity in the bubble, too.

The act and song that will represent the country at Eurovision Asia 2026 in Bangkok will be selected on Tuesday 11 August at 15:00 CEST. The show can be streamed via the Eurovision Song Contest’s official YouTube channel, and European fans can also cast their votes as part of the ROTW vote.

And although I don't know how many people still visit this sub reddit, I would like to hear your opinions. What songs particularly spoke to you or made you curious? Who do you think will win the selection?
