Just need a little advice!

Hello everybody! I just wanted to ask for advice here because I've been binge watching a bunch of testosterone improvement videos and Im just asking how it usually is (In philippine peso) and if there IS a place where I can do it and also what age you guys recommend doing i

Edit: I found out there's a gel form of testosterone? Does anybody recommend it more than the injections?

asking for advice

hello. i'm 23 years old po. i'm planning to have hrt next or next year. the problem was, hindi ko gusto i-disclose sa fam ko. out ako sa fam ko but not as trans. they know i have a girlfriend (legal kami sa side ko), alam nila preference ko sa clothing, pero namimisgender pa rin ako (gets kasi di naman nila alam).

ask ko lang po if mahahalata po ba nila yung changes kung kasama ko pa rin sila sa bahay (esp. voice drop)? gusto ko na kasi mag HRT kasi i really feel dysphoric.

ps. i have a lower range ng voice since childhood

coming out again

first time ko magpost sa subreddit na to :')

ok so i already came out to my parents back in august 2024 (when i was 16), and it wasnt that bad pero di ako nakapag-explain ng maayos kasi naiiyak lang talaga ako at that moment.

di din nila ko na-accept cause my mom is pretty religious and my dad just follows what she says, pero di din naman nila ako sinigawan which is honestly best case scenario.

it's been 3 years, and im planning on coming out again today with a letter.

plan ko is iiwan ko lang siya sa desk ko tapos aalis na for my college classes, kasi di ko talaga kaya kausapin sila ng harap-harapan while explaining.

yung after nalang nila mabasa yung letter ang moment na kaya ko na sila harapan. sana nga lang mabasa nila lahat kasi dalawang pages ng yellow pad yun tapos front to back HAHA

yun lng naman, wish me luck :')))

my partner relying on testo

problem: my partner relying on testo for emotional stability.

context: hello! i’m 21f and my partner is 22, transmasc. i met him when he was 1 month on testo na. 8 months after, he stopped due to financial restrictions since student pa lang siya.

my partner is very sensitive in nature; he loves animals, he’s pure hearted, good at picking up my mood shifts, knows how to comfort me—the best partner i could ever ask for. he then told me that before transitioning, he tends to cry a lot and feels things deeply. don’t get me wrong, his sensitive nature is what made me fall in love with him. but now that he stopped, his hormones are all over the place and i got taken aback. back then, while i can tell na he’s a tender soul, composed pa rin naman siya. but now, our relationship has been rocky because of the frequent meltdowns. he even tried to break up with me because he didn’t want to pull me down with him daw. i tried my best effort to be compassionate and understanding, until he decided to take testo again, in hopes that it’ll stabilize his emotions kasi he says that he misses the time that he makes me happy and loved :(

i’m not against him taking testo. i love him regardless if he’s on it or not. i just think that it’s an unhealthy coping mechanism, but i don't think my thoughts are valid since i don’t have a vast knowledge in this area. have you guys went thru the same thing? thoughts?

edit: this is a new account since mutuals kami ng partner ko sa main reddit account ko. we met here on reddit actually, haha.

coming out

helloo! i’m 16 and idk if i should come out to my parents (specifically my mom) or not.

i can’t afford financially to come out since my mother is the only one supporting me and my two older sisters. if i do come out, she’ll likely disown me or stop supporting me financially. i can’t get a job because i’m still a minor and jobs here in the philippines require you to be at least 18+, and i have no other family members that are openly supportive of LGBTQ+ folks that could also support me financially.

idk what i should do tbh. lay low and bahala na si batman? or should i just say screw it and come out to my mom? either way i’m fucked.

Asking 4 advice

So hello po, I'm a trans man in the Philippines who is planning to transition at some point in the future, and I would like to ask for advice from people who have already transitioned or have experience with how to acquire HRT in the first place.

I'd also like to know about any social spaces where I could either learn more or find a community as well!

Unfortunately, I'm not really blessed with people who truly understand or support me in my wish to transition. I wouldn't say I'm in a hostile environment toward it, but I still lack support and people who see me for who I truly am...

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Name change/Gender Marker change

Hello! So I just wanna begin with apologizing that I don’t speak or understand Tagalog as I was never taught it as a kid after moving to Canada when I was 2

I was just wondering about the process of changing your name and gender marker in the Philippines as I was born there and got my Canadian citizenship much later on as a kid through my family after being in Canada for awhile. I want to change my name and gender marker in Canada, but I don’t know if having duel citizenship will affect anything in both countries. Or if I could maybe be barred from entering or lose my citizenship/property in the Philippines if I change my Canadian legal documents only?

how to deal w my crisis

not really a vent, and i don’t mean harm in this. i’m 19 and i’m currently going thru a crisis right now 😿 i’ve been thinking lately na magstart with T and i’m also considering taking top surgery in the future. the thing is, i don’t want to be labeled as a man(?). not that i have any issues with being a transman, but i just don’t see myself labeled as a man.. if that makes sense. and also, although i want to start T, i’m also concerned about the bottom growth stuff na i’ve been hearing about and i don’t think na i’d prefer that, but i want the other things (like facial hair and change in voice etc.). it’s like i want to look masculine and pass as a man, but at the same time, i don’t want to be labeled as one(?) 😿🙏 what can i do huhu

Dating

I feel like I'm missing out, lalo na trans guy ako, kahit magkacrush ang hirap kasi kapag sinabi kong may gusto ako sa babae “Ay bading ka beh!!” Pag lalaki namn “Hala straight ka na?” No inbetween. Nakakainggit, nakakainis, nakakaisolating.

I want to be in a queer relationship, a relationship I'm accepted in and don't have to explain my identity. Even looking for people who are t4t is so hard, scary rin maghanp online 💧 I'm curious to those who found their partners, how'd you found them or how'd they find you? Feeling ko nasasayang ko tlaga oras ko kakahintay haha (Sorry kung ang gulo ko po, parng nababaliw na ko sa kakaisip)
