Was it just the area I was in but no one was dancing to Isoxo's set??? just people standing around in their friend groups. Made it so uncomfortable to try and dance.

first time in canada , and first fvded. sooooo lovely!! used to SoCal raves which are great in their own way but was so pleasantly surprised with how friendly everyone was (there's always exceptions ofc lol day 1 had some bad crowds/shoving here and there), the venue was beautiful especially for a city festival i loved how green + well kept everything was, the forest area specifically was so special. felt like the perfect place to reset when cutting through

vancouver is awesome. the people, the food, the nature 😮‍💨😮‍💨 can't wait to come back

wow! the crowd last night was so much better then friday! allycvt & levity b2b wooli broke my neck!!!! i met so many wonderful people and while i was in the crowd for levity people were so respectful and gave me so much room to headbang, i even got fist bumped a few times! i can’t wait for next year!!

Went to fvded yesterday solo, and while I had a decent time, I felt so lonely. There were lots of groups that seemed like they were best friends, all chatting to each other and dancing. I think I heard irish/English/Aussie and North American in the same group. Then on the sky train home there were other people that looked like they didnt know they would be in the same car but bumped into each other. They were talking about the afters they were heading to, the festivals they wanted to do, and then side questing but decided to turn around because they missed their friends.

I don't understand how everyone knows each other. I know theres the Vancouver4Friends on Reddit but meeting online doesn't seem as genuine as meeting someone in person (in my opinion at least)

We made it out alive yall. That was my first fvded mine and my partners first 4th of July weekend together and it was the best one ever. Everyone was amazing. Thank you all for being so kind and energetic. We will definitely be back. If anyone is going to Bass canyon we will see you there

Last night was my first time at Fvded and I didn't really know what to expect, but everyone in my area at the Pacific stage VIP area was super respectful and sweet!! I got a great view, special shoutout to the lady from Idaho who gave me a dinosaur fan and a beaded bracelet, you're the best. I hope everyone got home safely and the people who I was talking to on the SkyTrain made it to an afterparty ❣️

My friend lost her phone and ID last night. Is Lost and Found still operational today and is it still located in the same place as it was during the event? Alternatively, is there a designated contact person or email we can reach out to regarding recovered items?

If anyone took a photo with the soccer referees on day 1 of FVDED could you please send them to me? We took a bunch of photos with strangers and would love to see some of them!

starting with my buddy being racially profiled by a cop in line up to get in, he was “randomly id’d”, ran through the system, and questioned and once he asked why just himself was picked out the cops picked out a few white guys myself included and ran our id’s too.
The crowds were rough!! Girls getting groped left right and center, people flying through the insanely packed crowd shoving people over as they go, and a general lack consideration for others. Plus why are so many people dropping this year from drugs I’m not yucking anyone’s ham but please get your stuff tested and use responsibly. Even if you don’t use carrying naloxone can save a life.

There were of course lots of gems of humans in the mix adding to the good vibe and great sets although the crowding was a bit out of hand.
I hope tomorrow is a different story FVDED has always struggled but so far this year is rougher than usual
