Goodreads Import

I just downloaded Fable about 8 hours ago and started my Goodreads import. It still says importing so I’m curious: does the important actually take this long, or is something wrong with my import?

If it shouldn’t be taking this long, do you all have any ideas of what I can do?

Mild annoyance: Genre classifications

I’ve noticed a few books on Fable have been strangely classified.

For example: And Then There Were None and If Beale Street Could Talk were both misclassified as “historical fiction” even though both were set around the time of publication.

I’m sure fable is just pulling from a database somewhere.

Is there a way to edit genres for your own stats?

Fable plus worth it?

Hi everyone,

I have been thinking about subscribing to Fable plus but I don’t know if it’s worth it…
If you are subscribed could you please share with me how you like it?

Thank you ☺️

The one positive thing about the heatwave - nothing to do but read.

After reading "only" about 1-2 books per month this year, June finally made me fall back in love with the HABIT of reading and picking something up every day. Also, no complete failures this month, I enjoyed all of these to a bigger or smaller extend!

Happy end of the month, everyone!

The monthly reading wraps should be coming out soon, and we're excited to see what everyone has been reading this month!

Let's be friends 🧡

I've been on Fable for about 3 years, but only recently started connecting with a handful of people on there—and wow, I had no idea what I was missing 😭

It's so much fun seeing what everyone's reading, reacting to reviews, and chatting in the comments. I'd love to find some more bookish friends and share those little reading moments together!

I read around 200 books a year, mostly fantasy, romance, sci-fi, mysteries, and pretty much any combination of those genres. I do branch out every now and then, though, and I'm always open to recommendations 😊

June wrap up!

Honestly, this is one of my worst reading slumps ever, and I fear it might continue for the rest of the year. Also, I kind of want to give The Everlasting a second chance because I know it will eat if I read it at the right time. It was truly the epitome of "right book, wrong time."
