As decided by last year's winner u/JesusFuckJustDuck, the contest will be hosted in the easterly Vladivostok. It will surely be an exquisite backdrop for this year's contest ;)

SONG RULES:

Song must be released on 1.10. 2024 or later
There is no length rule, but it must objectively be a song (no spoken word etc. pls). I reserve the right to veto anything over 7 minutes, though i probably won't
Fame rules: max. 20 million spotify plays of the song + no famous-artists rule (This is extremely subjective, however i have decided to not have any strict numerical rules for this. I will NOT allow artists such as BTS or so on. If i deny your artist, you are allowed to challenge this with the mods. If they are a household name in the west, they won't be eligible.)
No (J)ESC artists or songs, no (J)ESC NF songs and no artists who participated in a (J)ESC NF since the 2024 ESC season including. (this includes Eurovision Asia!)
No artists from last year (Also please try to not recycle artists from other recent contests here)
You ARE allowed to represent the same country as last year, however there are no reservations except for Russia, so first come first serve.
This is a closed contest - You are NOT allowed to do any NFs or song reveals (as is the tradition with this contest). If you do a private discord NF i won't mind, though...
All borrowers' spotify listen limit is 10 million plays + all borrowers must have a relation to Asia/Oceania (for example, if you take French Polynesia, you can send an australian-french act, but no purely french acts)
Heritage rules: The act must either have it's lead singer or 50% of their heritage be of the country you are taking (general Asia/Oceania for borrowers) or be otherwise significantly tied to that country (lived most of their life there etc.) If possible, try to include a link to the heritage proof when you are submitting your song.
Max. two borrowers per country (This isn't states, get real)
I, Lukário, will have to wait either 24 hours or until there are 30 sign-ups before claiming a country, whichever happens first. (Avoiding the mod advantage)
BONUS RULE: For North Korea, the song age limit is 1.1.2018 and no views limit applies. They are NOT a South Korea borrower.

WHICH COUNTRIES ARE AVAILIBLE?

There isn't a single spreadsheet, we will be using ---> A LIST OF COUNTRIES <--- Don't forget to make sure that your country meets the rules. Before submitting, please, check newest comments to ensure that your country hasn't been taken yet! Taken countries will be listed below, however comments, even if not yet included take priority.

Some notes:

You are allowed to sign-up through Discord or other subreddits, but the post on FantasyVisionContests will contain the master list of taken countries.
For the purposes of this contest, Russia, Turkey, Cyprus and the 3 Caucasian countries are considered to be Asian in their entirety. Egypt however is NOT eligible (an agreement with AfroVision).
The two Russian geopolitical tumors are NOT claimable. Northern Cyprus however is claimable and is a Turkish borrower.
Besides that, all other countries/territories on the Wikipedia page listed under Asia or Oceania are claimable
HK & Macau are NOT PRC borrowers (and vice versa) + Taiwan is considered to be a completely separate country as well.
All territories are claimable as a borrower of their "owner" country (remember the two per country rule!) OR as themselves without being borrowers (if you can find a heritage-acceptable artist, go for it)
DM me if you want to claim something not included in the article, but i will only accept places with a reasonable enough claim for representation (This isn't subdi, get real)
