Hey gals! Reclaiming our style and figuring out how we want to express ourselves to the world is such a huge part of breaking our shackles.
I thought it would be fun to share our fashion Pinterest boards, see what aesthetics we have in common and connect over our favorite styles.
Let's drop our links below, I'd love to see what you guys are pinning 😆
Hey girls!
So, I recently left Islam. I’m a closeted ex-Muslim for now. I want to know what was the first thing you guys did to express yourself? I need help with glowing up and taking care of my appearance. I don’t know how to style my hair thanks to being a hijabi, I also don’t know how to dress up bc of that too. Wearing the hijab doesn’t make me feel feminine and I feel like I want to express my femininity in whatever way possible. Any tips are welcome!
They dress coded me for wearing a shirt that didn’t cover my ass even tho it was with sweatpants and altho I am still wearing it whether they like it or not and I’m going to the amusement park and you know they made me lift up my arms to make sure no skin was showing aughhhhhhh! no skin showed yet they were like “oh but when you go on the rides your shirt will ride up!” im like dude no one’s gonna pay attention then they’re like “oh that’s nit the point you as a muslim woman should wear modest clothes regardless even if you don’t wear hijab” like stfu your acting like I wore a crop top(altho I wanna). Like I swear to god they Will let me wear short sleeves but can’t handle it if a little bit of skin shows when I lift my arm.
