Fun fact:
when women are on their period, they're being flooded with testosterone. which means when men say we're emotional and hysterical on our period, it's actually because we're acting like a man.

Stop sleeping with men. The patriarchy doesn’t deserve it.
* Women earn about 82¢ for every $1 earned by men, proving discrimination is widespread.
* The ‘motherhood penalty’ shows women are paid less simply because they have children.
* Women are routinely passed over for promotions and raises due to unconscious bias.
* Female-dominated professions are systematically undervalued and therefore paid less than male-dominated ones.
* Because women negotiate less often due to social conditioning, employers exploit this and perpetuate the wage gap.
I have a lot of thoughts on this subject because my mom owns a hair salon. Ive seen how men judge/treat us. Yet i see so many woman living with there partners before marriage Yet some of my girlfriend don't seem to understand that men judge us by how many partners weve had. Our value goes down to them the more partners weve had. I dont believe sexual freedom of us woman and men will ever be truly equal. But i recently heard a speech by Jordan peterson and wanted to hear your thoughts on it too. Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Live With Your Significant Other Before Marriage do you think its true based on your experience why or why not?
What explains persistent overall gap in 2023, median annual wages stood at $62,000 for men versus $51,000 for women — an 18% gap ($11,000 difference)?
I’m looking for both books and authors known for being considered feminist, what might you recommend I look into as far as authors go?
Idk, i think a lot of people have actually lost the plot in feminism.
Real, actually mature feminists are the ones who try to dismantle patriarchal expectations and traditions and recreate society as a safe place where no one is judged for preferences/gender/etc(as long as youre not like, violating human rights)
Not because they necessarily want women to own the world or keep all men tied up and locked in rooms, but because they recognise that men, women, children, queer, poor, disabled and all other marginalized communities face challenges and discrimination because of patriarchy(directly or indirectly).
Men are told dressing in a certain way or crying or complaining is weakness("men dont cry" "men dont wear pink, thats a girly colour"). Children from a young age are told to use specific toys, often with no choice(if a boy tries to play with his sister's dolls or tea set, he's immediately taken away and given a truck or action figure, and scolded for trying to play with girl toys and vice versa). Disabled/queer men are treated as inferior and dumb, and disabled/queer women/enby people are treated like a liability or as a circus for male entertainment(iykyk).
Real feminists ALWAYS stand up for victims, no matter their gender. right?
I am an equalist who believes that everybody is equal in this world and for everyone to have equal opportunities, everyone should be given high quality education for free. I am not a feminist because I know little to none about feminism. So do you think I should apodt feminism. If, yes why? And why not equalism.
