Bespoke Novelty Betting

I am expecting a baby girl in a couple months and I want to put a bet on that she will play for the England lionesses before she turns a certain age. Can this be done?

Fanatics is now tracking and banning bettors who harass athletes online

Fanatics Sportsbook just rolled out a "Bad Actor Program" with IC360 and Signify Group to identify bettors sending abusive messages to athletes after games and ban repeat offenders.

this has been a documented problem for years, so it's interesting to see an operator build actual infrastructure around it instead of just a policy statement.

should this be an industry-wide shared blacklist, or stay operator-specific?

Hi!

Ah the curse of the low fixture volume. Still, should be a reliable three. If you can get Mongolia, maybe need waiting in play or higher bands?

I'm a little confused why the Finnish fixture is so long? Mind you more Finnish games are deviating than you'd expect (i.e. not always goal frenzies atm lol) and the last time VPS vs Inter Turku played it was at Inter Turku and ended 0-0, so the market maybe is reacting to that? Looking at the criteria matches it's still a solid pick. But as always, these are signals...consider carefully for yourself.

The Goal Band Cascade list has chosen friendlies today. I'm including that list today but I'll be monitoring it and include it with caveats! Friendlies can be unreliable. So I'm likely to monitor the list now that teams are starting with the friendlies and see how they perform. The cascade archive is newer and hasn't seen many friendlies...so maybe some filtering/rules will be needed to improve reliability of the forecasts for friendlies?

So I'm putting the list in so we can watch it together...and see what happens.

Cheers!

Two selections O2.5 290626

Hi :)

The weekend was good but now...the curse of the low fixture volume. Only 38 fixtures to analyse this Monday after removing ones with inaccessible leagues and not much left after the usual hoops the forecasts have to run through. So no cross model.

I am dropping in a screenshot from StatStrike of two fixtures I'll take a closer look at later this afternoon and may take. Both likely, not best performing category leagues for the app, but solid. The expanded card detail in the iOS app shows Latvian : Virsliga running at 64% success (accuracy of forecast) currently and the second, Finland: Ykkonen is at 68%.

If the selections are running mid-60's success in my systems I'd normally like at least 3 in the expectation of 2/3 landing minimum and covering with a small profit (dependent on odds) so may well take Brazil v Japan in the World Cup as the third pick and O1.5? They last played in a friendly in 2025 and Japan won 3-2...but it's a friendly, so...how much can be taken from that? Presumably a good confidence boost for Japan and Brazil with a point to prove? Should be some goals.

That's my musings early on a quiet Monday.

Cheers!

Daily Over/Under 2.5 Picks | 26 Jun 2026

Morning.

Ah the short fixture list...give me a day with a long list. So two today in the cross model match. I've put the StatStrike Best Performing in again after.

As always, if the fixture is ultra short consider the higher goal bands. Or potentially, if it's worth waiting for odds drift in-play, if the scoring patterns suggest that.

Cheers!

bet365 world cup tournament — what you should know about sportsbook promotion structures during major events

bet365 is running a world cup tournament challenge. if you bet on sports or follow sportsbooks, it's useful to understand how these tournament-style promos actually work.

how sportsbooks structure tournament promos:

during major events (world cup, march madness, super bowl), sportsbooks run "tournaments" where bettors accumulate points/winnings over a set period. top finishers win prizes. the structure varies a lot between platforms, and those variations matter.

what's important to understand:

winnings calculation. some tournaments count gross winnings, some count net profit, some use proprietary calculations that favor specific bet types. qualification. most require minimum bet frequency or betting on specific matches. if you miss a day or bet outside the window, you're out. prize structure. big announcements about prizes usually come with fine print about who qualifies. payout timeline. when do you actually get the prize if you win.

the competitive angle:

during world cup, sportsbooks compete hard for betting volume. tournament promos are how they drive more engagement. players think they're playing for prizes. sportsbooks think they're driving more bets. both can be true.

the practical consideration:

tournament promos can be entertaining if you go in understanding the structure. but they're also designed to incentivize more betting than you'd normally do. world cup is intense for sports betting already — tournaments can push that further.

if you bet on sports during major events, these promos are worth understanding before you commit to them. the structure determines whether you're actually chasing a prize or just betting more often.

Actual passive income from betting? I built a tool to make it more realistic.

Most people hear “passive income from betting” and immediately think of gambling systems, tipsters, or unrealistic promises.

That is not what I’m trying to build.

I built bettorboss.com as an automated football betting research tool for people who want to treat betting more like a data/research process than a guessing game.

The idea is simple.

Instead of spending hours every day checking team news, injuries, missing players, weakened squads, goalkeeper absences, rotation risk, youth teams, travel issues, and market blind spots, BettorBoss does the research automatically and turns it into clear reports.

It does not guarantee profit. It does not claim every bet will win. Betting always carries risk.

But for people who already bet or trade football markets, the passive income angle is this:

You can set up a daily research routine where the system scans games, highlights potential edges, sends a disruption digest, and lets you focus only on the matches where something meaningful has been found.

That turns betting from random scrolling into a more structured side-income system.

The goal is not “click a button and get rich.”

The goal is to reduce the manual research time, avoid poor bets, spot situations the market may have missed, and give serious bettors a better chance of finding value consistently.

I’m currently offering access through bettorboss.com for people who want to test whether automated football research can become a realistic semi-passive income tool.

We built a World Cup 2026 model and graded all 44 of our calls in public — 65.9% so far, the misses included

Most "AI predicts the World Cup" content quietly forgets the misses. We grade every call before kickoff and leave them up.

Group stage so far: 29/44 (65.9%). More telling than raw accuracy — our RPS (a proper probabilistic score) is 0.147 vs 0.229 for a no-skill baseline, and it held 61% out-of-sample across 770 matches before the tournament.

What it got wrong (we leave these up): Spain 0-0 Cape Verde (we had Spain 83%), Ecuador 0-0 Curaçao (69%), Portugal 1-1 DR Congo (71%) — three elite sides undone by goalkeeping nights the model rated unlikely. Variance, not a broken model.

What it got right that wasn't obvious: called the winner in tight three-way group games (Norway, Australia, Ghana) where its pick sat at just ~40%.

Full graded record (every match, the probability we gave, hit/miss): https://cup26matches.com/record · Methodology: https://cup26matches.com/methodology
