(FHM 12 noob here.)

Teams do it all the time in real life, where if you have cap space you can take on bad contracts with picks attached to them. Does the AI in game ever do that? And how do you find those players in the game? I have plenty of cap space this season and am trying to figure out how to build for the future. But when I'm looking at the trading block, every team seems to want assets back for every player listed, including some awful contracts.

I am a longtime EHM player and have been thinking of giving FHM a try. I used to play OOTP quite a bit a long time ago (back when OOTP2 was out), and something I really enjoyed was the online leagues, someone running sims, submitting my lineups, trades with other people, the forum banter, etc.

I know there are online leagues in FHM, but was just curious how popular they were nowadays. I remember a couple of challenges with online leagues back with OOTP were finding managers who would be active, keep up with things, etc.

Anyway - just curious what the online league scene is like in FHM. I do see posting for openings and such on the OOTP forums, but (and I could be wrong) it feels like they aren't as popular as numerous years ago.

Really want to play with correct historical contracts, but it seems pretty unlikely. Is there any chance 13 fixes this?

in FHM12 I am seeing a lot of players, gm's, coaches and owners retiring. before I move my save to July 1st is there anything I can do to the settings (commissioner mode enabled) to prevent these retirements?

Kinda coming back to the FHM as I’ve played FHM9 last weeks but going to buy 12 in Steam as it’s sale.

Mine question is that is there community made roster in summer? If I remember correctly developers updated only after trade deadline but is there community rosters to wait for?

Hi guys, so I play a lot of out of the park baseball and recently got into hockey with the stanley cup playoffs and have been thinking about getting the game. What do you guys recommend to me as a new comer?
