Can we now say that AI is ready to make full-length films?

This is next level.

The consistency between the characters and the settings is incredible.

What do you think?

Freepik/Magnific’s “unlimited generations” have slowly become less and less usable

I want to get the community's opinion on this. Personally, I actually signed up for Freepik back in Janurary of 2025, but forgot to use it for months. Then I discovered Seedream 4.5 and figured Freepik might be worth revisiting.

In September of 2025, I upgraded to the "Premium+" membership because - at the time - it offered "unlimited image generations". I figured that, since it included Seedream, it was worth it to go up a few levels. But, a month later (I think), "Unlimited" started being throttled. Maybe that Fall they had too many people sign up and it was backlogging the systems. I didn't really mind then, though, because I could live with the average 1-2 minute time for each generation.

Then Nano Banana Pro came out. And its specific computing demands (as I understand) caused unique issues for its systems. So, at first the messaging was "NB Pro will be unlimited until date X". But then "date X" kept getting pushed back until finally, in February, Freepik said "NB Pro will be staying Unlimited". At that point, though, they no longer offered "unlimited image generations" for every model, because to use NB Pro 4K, you needed to spend credits. And in the meantime, I had actually signed up for Higgsfield as well because they were offering "365 day access" to NB Pro, which was a useful backup for me in case Freepik decided "Nope, NB Pro can't stay unlimited".

I was still fine with the service because, for most of my needs, 2K was fine, and generations still lasted 2-3 minutes on average. Even when Nano Banana 2 came out, I was still okay because, even though 4K was locked by credits, 1-2K wasn't, and generation times were still reasonable. Until Freepik merged with Magnific last month. Now, suddenly, "Unlimited" generations - for me - seem to be taking on average 4.5-5.5 minutes per generation. And this has been consistent, so I don't believe there's an issue client side with Google. Especially with the notices at the bottom saying "spend credits to go quicker". What it's done is severely limit my experimentation, because now I need to wait 4-5 minutes to see if something works (unless I - you guessed it - spend credits) which isn't necessarily useful if I want to see, for example, how a character looks or if a prompt modification was useful.

Thing is, though, I don't think this is just limited to myself. I've seen other people complaining, and not just about Google but other models as well being slow. And looking at Freepik's website, the service no longer offers "unlimited image generation" in perpetuity - it's only for 365 days. NB Pro has been shifted permanently into the highest tier. NB2, meanwhile, is only offered "unlimited" for 1K, which is a resolution I find inadequate. Look, I understand that system needs change and that Terms can be reviewed at any time - I would not say running a website is easy. But it feels like I'm always constantly getting the rug pulled out from underneath me

Long story short, the "unlimited" I signed up for back in September has been slowly chipped away at, to the point where I reason that it's 90% less useful than what it was in September. But I do want to know - especially for people who've been here for a while - if others are experiencing the same issues/feelings. And if support is reading this I can't "just spend credits" to make things better because money is not an infinite resource. Also, I understand that things need to be staggered so that things run smoothly. But that doesn't mean that certain tiers should be nerfed to the point that its essentially unusable.

Anyway, community, this is what I feel. Am I the only one, or do others feel the same way? I'm not necessarily trying to bash the site, I'm just trying to understand if I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Can someone explain this to me like I am 5 year old?

Ok , so I am trying premium at magnific.com . I paid for it only because it has unlimited listed on it. As I suspected, the credits I bought are flying away yet nothing satisfactory is truly produced. So, I was trying unlimited, but the output is not good, so a lot of retrials are made. Anyway, a popup just appeared...so it seems that unlimited is limited...I am just baffled to this fraud. Last year I tried Hailuo, and their unlimited was indeed unlimited...I stopped paying after they made changes....ofc I expected unlimited= unlimited. So after 2 days of using I am getting warnings that I spent 30% of unlimited?

I have attached also their plans, just a portion so it clearly states it is unlimited-period. So this is misleading.

There should be some laws to regulate this, alot of this scams around.

Enhance a part of an image

How would you go about enhencing just a part of an image?

Let me be more specific - I have created an interior of an apartment from a 3d white model. This needs to be pretty big in resolution in the end, like 8K.

I've upscaled and enhenced the image to about 6K and i can see issues that i couldn't see at first glance or at lower resolution, as was expected.

The back details like a fruit bowl or pendant lamps for example are distorted or deformed.

If i will go back to the space in freepik and try to mend those issues i will lose the resolution i had after enhencing, with all the details i like.(It has only 1-2K resolution for NanoBanana), if I'll use Photoshop generator tool and select the area of thode lamps for example, it will give me a different type of lamps, if i use a reference image, it just bad. not imerrsing it into the existing environment what so ever in my experience.

So back to the original question - how would you go about enhencing that same lamp in that environment and keep the resolution of the overall image?

Hope I was able to explain the issue well enough, its kind of complicated :) Thanks

Been experimenting with prehistoric creature realism using AI-assisted filmmaking tools. Curious how this feels to people working in VFX/film.

Over the past month I’ve been developing a mammoth-focused cinematic worldbuilding project and trying to push it away from the usual “AI look.”

Most of the work has honestly been less about prompting and more about observation, iteration, rejection, environmental behavior, anatomy, atmosphere, and trying to make the creature feel physically present instead of just visually detailed.

Still very early in development and definitely not final yet, but I wanted to share one of the recent research sequences here because I’m curious how people from film, VFX, creature work, animation, or cinematography feel about this direction technically.

Especially interested in:

- environmental realism

- weight/movement

- fur behavior

- atmosphere

- whether the creature feels biologically grounded or still synthetic

Would genuinely appreciate honest feedback.

....what now ??? - I guess this is the end of AI for me

while it still may be unlimited.... I don't consider unlimited waiting 8 minutes per image for Nano Banana 2 and Kling 2.5 taking just as long....so, while my subscription is up, I'm not sure if I will sign up again.....and as the trend with AI becoming so expensive, if they price me out, I hope the time comes when they all have to answer for copyright, with things like AI being trained on people's YouTube video's without their permission or the use of Celebrity's in Nano Banana and such

Unlimited Generations - AI Aggregators

I've been using Freepik(Magnific) for the past year, but generations are super slow at the moment, quality is dropping, and since they stopped unlimited Nano 2k image generations I've started to look for alternatives. I dont have the budget to use Comfy UI and so was thinking of Runway Unlimited subscription, is it worth it, I've read alot of reddit threads where users are also complaining about Runway waiting times for generations as well and quality. Any suggestions or advice would be great, thanks.

95% Magnific Legacy Promo shown in my account, but checkout fails with 500 / price ID error

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar with Freepik / Magnific AI.

We’ve been a Magnific legacy subscriber for around 2 years, and for the past two weeks we’ve been seeing a 95% discount promo (for premium + and pro tiers) inside our Magnific AI Legacy account in multiple places. The promo also says it is valid until May 29.

However, whenever we try to complete the purchase, checkout fails with an error like:

“500 Internal Server response”
“code 400_2”
“Error in charge”
“Customer couldn’t purchase price id…”

This does not look like a normal card decline to me, especially because the error mentions a server error and a price ID issue. It feels like the promo price ID may not be correctly connected to our legacy account or checkout flow.

We contacted support, but so far the replies seem generic and say there is no promotion. The issue is that the promotion is clearly visible inside our account, in multiple locations, and we have screenshots showing both the promo and the checkout error.

Has anyone else with a Magnific legacy account seen this 95% promo or had a similar checkout failure?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Being charge for unlimited classic upscale

I have the toggle set to unlimited for "classic upscaling" but when I check my credits it going down and using credits. I'm only using the unlimited models like nano banana 2 and then upscaling with classic and points are still being consumed. If any freepik staff is in here, please explain.

Magnefic is awful again. Unlimited Kling 2.5 is practically unavailable.

I didn’t have these problems before. Now, very often, instead of generating on the unlimited Kling 2.5 plan, I see this window - and it’s disgusting. You keep misleading people about everything. You advertise “unlimited” in the subscription, but in reality it’s available far less often now than it used to be.

Constant prompts to switch to paid models. Terrible service.

Starting next month, I’m planning to move to another platform, and honestly, I hope others do the same. You don’t respect your users and keep getting more arrogant with every update.
