thought i had about scourge the hedgehog

if sega created a completely separate alternate universe evil version of sonic that was distinct enough from anti sonic, then give him scourges exact backstory that IAN FLYNN wrote, could ken penders file a suit against them for that? he claims he "owns" scourge because it's anti sonic so what if they made a completely separate version of scourge who isn't connected to anti sonic at all?

i know sega would probably NEVER do this but its nice to think about.

hello everyone of the FKP subreddit. i'm Alex Hedgefox, also known as Nintrendodude(though nobody really calls me that anymore), i am 27 years old, i have Autism and ADHD, and i USED to work for Ken Penders.

i dont use reddit very often so apologies if i dont fully understand how this stuff works (i didnt pick the name Bitter_Ad_3182 but i guess that is what was decided for me)

i provided HD High Quality digital scans for ken to use in his reprint collections, the 4 of which had my involvement were "The Lara-Su Chronicles: Beginnings", "The Knuckles Omnibus Volume 1", "Scott Shaw's Sonic Days". and lastly "The Shadow Files" (but i was only ever paid for 2 out of the 4 collections, those being Lara-Su and Shadow)

the one talking about The Shadow Files, the involvement (or lack there of) of Ian Flynn and Tracy Yardley, that also goes briefly over my work experience working under Ken Penders and how it wasnt that great, but just let it be known that article is only scratching the surface of how much of an absolute shitshow ken is running behind the scenes, and i guess i should consider myself lucky that ken thinks so little of me cuz he never had me sign any form of NDA meaning i can say whatever the hell i want about him.

i actually brought up the idea of doing this post to Jacob/Historian but i wasnt sure considering my "reputation". but he encouraged me to do so.

Sonic Stadium - Ian Flynn and Tracy Yardley Disown Ken Penders’ “The Shadow Files”

Sooooo...

Crediting Ian and Tracy when they EXPLICITLY told him not to is all kinds of scummy for Ken. But is it enough for them/SEGA/whoever to lawyer up or it's just not worth it anymore?

Also, about the Scott Shaw Sonic book, I will admit the redone art looks nice...but if the supposed plan was to restore the old Archie Sonic stories as they were originally published, then that's no good.

Ok so I decided to investigate a little further and...

Bollers -- Photo taken from Wiki Zone. Bio appears to be original

Potto -- Photo^(1) and bio taken from Wiki Zone.

Butler -- Photo is a stock promotional shot (in this case Steven has been photoshopped in front of an issue of Web of Scarlet-Spider). Bio appears to be original.

Lim -- Photo is sourced from Wiki Zone. Bio appears to be original.

Spaz -- This might actually be the original copy of this photo. It appears on Mobius Encyclopedia slightly cropped. Bio appears to be original.

Mawhinney -- Source of photo and bio unknown. An image search only provides Art's self portrait he did several years ago. The same image appears on both Wiki Zone and Mobius Encyclopedia.

Dawn Best -- Source of photo and bio unknown. Notably its presented crooked in the book.

Manak -- Photo sourced from Wiki Zone.

Tracy! -- Photo and bio sourced from Wiki Zone. As with Ian, Tracy requested to not be included in this book.
