I wanted to leave a review of my experience with Ezra (now Mondae) since I know a lot of people here are comparing providers.
I signed up because they advertise $145/month and told me that price would stay the same for life, which was a huge selling point for me. I was started at 1.5mg of tirzepatide with glycine and was told to increase every 2 weeks.
The first issue I ran into was the following month when my credit card blocked the payment. I went into the portal and manually charged my card. Ezra told me there was an issue with the pharmacy because the pharmacy was still showing the prescription as unpaid and wouldn’t fill it. They ended up switching me to another pharmacy that normally costs $10 more, but reassured me that I would still pay $145/month, which I appreciated.
Then I received my medication from the new pharmacy and realized I hadn’t been sent enough for the prescribed dosing. There was a little bit of back and forth with Ezra that was frustrating, but they eventually acknowledged that I was sent the wrong amount and sent me an entire additional vial at no extra cost.
Customer service can be a little slow. It can take a couple days to get a response and they don’t respond on weekends, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind if you have an issue that needs to be resolved quickly. But overall, I’ve been happy with how they’ve handled things. Even though I’ve had a couple issues, they’ve ultimately fixed them without charging me extra.
So far I’d definitely use Ezra again. The $145 pricing has been honored even after switching pharmacies, and I really appreciate that they made the medication issue right when it was their mistake. Just don’t expect super fast responses, especially on weekends.
Hi. Wondering if am i the only one having a bad experience with Rift? I just dumped my entire three-month supply, which arrived warm, was supposed to be only the first month of doses, but came as three-month supply, and information about compounding pharmacy was completely confusing. Based on the many positive reviews for the company, I ordered a three-month supply of Tirzepapazide from Rift. I chose the Apothecary pharmacy, then about an hour later, asked if i could switch to the Bordeaux because i was concerned about the warnings of arriving warm. They said it wasn't possible to switch pharmacies once order was placed. I stayed with Apothecary. Then I started to receive text messages every day about my delivery status from Apothcary/Hyalo/NewLife RX. I wrote and asked them which pharmacy was compounding the drug. they wrote:
Apothecary has finished compounding GLP-1 medications. NewLife Rx, the dispensing pharmacy, is currently phasing out the remaining Apothecary inventory and transitioning to Hyalo, another 503B facility. Hyalo will be compounding the same formulation with the same preservative.
We also posted the announcement on our social community page, which you can view here: https://www.reddit.com/r/joinrift/s/WrEPc5BoZA
If Apothecary was no longer compounding GLP1s, why was it an option when i placed the order, but Hyalo was not an option. And why couldn't i change it. The final deliver message said it was delivered by Quaker Community Pharmacy. The package was completely warm - and they shipped the entire three month's order - which was not how it was supposed to be sent. So i'm dumping the entire supply, which is disappointing on several levels.
I realize that I likely signed my rights away,. I could just not keep up with their excessive communications - every day another text message that seemingly said the same thing. I stopped checking the mssages. That the vials were warm and compounded at a pharmacy that is no longer compounding GLP1` is concerning. I consider myself daring but not when it comes to injecting a medication. The company may be above board and their business practices legal but it seems Rift should not be at the top of a list for compounding companies to purchase a GLP1`.
With all that said, has anyone had a similar experience?
I am working through a several month supply of Tirzepatide. Been trying to ride out the changing landscape of compounded peptides with the new FDA rules and the continuing shake out of various telehealths some of which don't seem to stick around for very long. I am allergic to B vitamins. I need pure Tirzepatide with no additives... Are there any compounding pharmacies that make pure Tirzepatide without any additives that ship to California?
Which company did you have your worst experience with? Add a sentence or two for context!
Does anyone know where the most affordable place is in Chattanooga to get compounded GLP1s or an affordable pharmacy that does it?.
Looking for some recommendations from people who have actually been through this!
I had to stop Zepbound at the beginning of the year because my BMI was considered too low for insurance to continue covering it because Zepbound worked and lowered my BMI. 🤦♀️ Make it make sense. 😂
Now I’m going the self pay route and there are SO many companies out there.
Who are you using, what are you paying each month, and would you recommend them?
I took my first 2.5mg dose of trez yesterday today I woke up super sore in my neck and jaw should I be worried it’s like I’m bruised
