Why are they so op, they hit almost every shot, they are so coordinated, dayum, I just started playing recently and sweet heavens they are powerful

Hi All, we’ve got a squad of 3, 1 player short for raids if anyone’s interested to join. Public matchmaking is not working for the past few days

I downloaded Breakpoint recently and have been noticing my guns keep shooting on their own. I'm playing on windows via the Ubisoft client, I've checked my controller, it's good. It happens most when i'm in combat, often it'll start shooting as soon as I look down the sights. Changing weapons doesn't make any difference, it happens with all guns. Changing the firing mode doesn't help either. Even using a pistol or rifle set to semi auto it'll still let off several shots as if I've pulled the trigger several times.

I struggle to simulate the same results when I'm not in combat, so it seems that being in combat is some sort of trigger for it. Also, I recently played Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, and it would do something very similar when in combat as well. But I've used one of those controller monitoring things and there's no ghosting on the trigger of the controller.

I can't get to the bottom of it, I can't tell if it's the game or my set up. Anyone else had this?
